Dillian Whyte vs Oscar Rivas- a very underrated HW fight

Post by apollo creed »

Tbh I can't wait to see this fight. I think Whyte is the workhorse of the HW division taking all the tough challenges. :box:

This is def underrated. Kudos to Whyte and his taking all comers. Rivas can take him.

There will be more hooks thrown than jabs in this fight

I dunno. I was interested in it at first, but then I went and watched Rivas against Jennings and I wasn't that impressed with Rivas. Kind of slow and plodding, and I don't think he is a particularly big puncher despite having a decent KO ratio.

I think White will soundly outbox him and likely end up knocking him out in the mid to late rounds.

I would have preferred Whyte-Povetkin, but I get the feeling that Whyte didn't particularly fancy that.

Whyte is the favorite, no doubt but Rivas is a solid opponent. Not a soft touch.

I agree with your take, except for povetkin. I'm long over him.
