I met Kessler at the Calzaghe-Lacy fight. He is such a nice guy. He was drinking with his manager in a little bar down on the floor level and nobody recognized him. Me and my friend did and got to talking to him. I remember I asked who did he hope to see win and he said Calzaghe. He said he'd met them both at the weigh-in or presser I forget and Lacy scowled at him whereas Calzaghe was really nice.

I went to Calzaghe-Kessler too. That was a great night.

Don’t know if it’s blasphemy. But Ali is not one of my favorite fighters. All due respect. But aside from Liston, Williams, Frazier and Foreman his fights are boring. I am only old enough to have witnessed the second career and only part of that really. I know how great the 60’s version was from film but not a desert island film collection for me.
