As I thought Jacobs is thinking about moving up to smw

Realistically there is pretty much nothing valuable left for him at mw. GGG's main objective is a III fight with Canelo. And definitely Jermall is on a stiffs-diet till a cherrypick would go wrong or Canelo would somehow vacate that wbc belt.

Jacobs fought the best in the mw division and did it good. It's obvious that he's a big guy and at smw will have good names to fight like Eubank Jr, Benavidez and Callum.

I like him at 160 but being ok with throwing away big money for not even coming close to a 10 lb hydration clause seems like a good indication that he would be better off at 168.

He's a big guy. I think at 168 he could have better performances.

He can become a champ there as well. Smith matchup is very interesting. And there will be an opportunity to face BJS too.

I think Smith would be way way too strong for him.

Jacobs earned his Entitled Mexican golden egg, and the exposure that comes with it. Time to move up.

Don't know how much time Smith will stay at smw but it's a realistic fight since both are DAZN fighters. As for BJS. I don't think he wants that work. He'd keep that smw wbo belt hostage fantasizing about how much money he could squeeze from a potentially fight with Canelo at 168lbs. lol

Eubank Jr vs Jacobs is an interesting match imo. Benavidez and Tony Dirrell are with PBC.

I doubt he's a significantly harder puncher than Groves.

jacobs doesnt have a good recent track record for stopping guys, sulecki was down 2x vs rosado and hurt seriously by culcay and danny didnt even stop him, then theres arias and derev

at the higher levels danny is more of a speedy boxer then a puncher

He'll stay at middleweight.

Why would he move up a division and forfeit that post weigh-in weight gain advantage that he's usually eager to steal?

By doing that he'd damage his body and health without no benefits. Jacobs is a big man and he's 32, not 25. :TU:
