Danny Williams v Ratko Draskovic for the WBU (German version) HW title - in Donauworth, Bayern, Germany - 27 April

Both fighters turned up, but Draskovic pulled out at the last minute - claiming injury.

German TV shows both in the ring. Williams told those present that his opponent was scared & didn't want to fight him!!

Pity this never happened as Williams would probably have won by stoppage.

Real shame for those punters who bought tickets specifically to see this

Danny still the GBF champion though. Draskovic is around 52 or something isn’t he? I can’t be bothered to check right now, but I’ve seen him before on boxrec. Would probably have been a quick blowout for Williams, his opponent probably has never actually faced a real - although massively shot - boxer

What a farce, at least the boxer went easy on her, could have got really hurt other wise

Wouldn't be so bad if that had been a one off scenario and she'd sensibility 'retired' afterwards.

But she'd had five 'fights' prior to this, stopped each time only reaching the second round once.

Just had a look at Danny's record and I see his fights with Negus, Miles and McCallister aren't listed (regarded as 'unlicensed' presumably?)

Does anyone know of any other unlisted fights he's had?

Yes mate...

Negus & Miles were unlicenced
McCallister was sanctioned by BIBA, but not recognised by BoxRec

The only other fight was against Edgars Kalnars, that was a Latvian Boxing Federation event, but was not recognised by BoxRec.
