Tyson Fury claims he could finish his career by the end of this year !
I read this on Ukrainan portal "RINGSIDE24". This is a serious media. Fury said that he would fight three times by the end of the 2019, and that's it. I am a little bit confused. What do you think ?

I don't pay attention to Jones.SenorPipino wrote: ↑07 May 2019, 15:03 About on the same level as Roy Jones insisting that he was finished last year.

Entirely plausible. With almost 100% certainty I think you can say, that Fury doesn't like the fight game and would much prefer to be a fat geezer downing ale with his mates and spending time with his kids.

Can't see Fury fighting 3 times this year.
He would have to average a fight every 2 months.
Not enough promotional time to do that.
Maybe he's trying to worry Arum and speed up the Wilder rematch.
Arum won't bite.

If he did people around here will still call him lineal champ(like the title is worth a bag of chips) when he comes back in 2023.

That's a lot of stick over something someone read in a magazine. Tyson doesn't seem the most popular bloke on this forum. Tyson's been doing really well, fair play to him.

Two years ago he told us he changed his name and renounced his (Irish Traveler) gypsy heritage.Ilya Muromets wrote: ↑08 May 2019, 00:18 He's usually kidding or goofing or drunk. I wouldn't pay any attention to it.

Ask yourself whether you would consider buying a used car off him?Ilya Muromets wrote: ↑08 May 2019, 01:58 Two years ago he told us he changed his name and renounced his (Irish Traveler) gypsy heritage.
You would?
God bless you!

Ha ha how did u know!? U r actually talking to a guy who really did buy a used car from (Romany) gypsies in Brooklyn, NY. We had to drive all over Brooklyn to try to locate the king of the gypsies because he was the only one who knew how to write so he could fill in all the lies on the motor vehicle transfer forms. It was a $250 Mercedes Benz of all things, only slightly used. I later found out it had been totalled. But i drove it down to the Jersey shore all summer wihout even looking at the insides, and then one night it blew up. i wuz yung an stoopid then, not a real smart guy like i am now.

The windshield wiper didn't work, so once i stopped by the Mercedes dealer on the upper east sideof Manhattan and told the Merc. guy I'd like to buy a windshield wiper. After he stopped lauging and calling over the other mechanics to look at my car, he told me a new windshield wiper costs about twice what i paid for the car, so i left. I didn't really need it anyway, same as the brakes. The emergency brake still worked and so did both headlights, tho the right one was kind of dim, and the horn worked kind of intermittently if you pressed it just right and held it a few seconds or a couple of minutes. But the seats were leather!

Last year - or the year - before he was claiming he was going to qualify to be a doctor when he finished up with boxing. I don’t give a lot of credence to anything Fury says, though he is entertaining...

Tyson Fury signed a five-fight deal with ESPN and his bout against Schwarz will only be the first contest of that contract.
Also, if the rumours are true about Wilder facing Ortiz and Kownacki after Breazeale, with AJ obliged to face his mandatories, then Fury may miss out on two massive paydays if he chooses to retire before the end of the current calendar year.
Fury has a proven track-record of telling the media he plans to retire, but usually doesn’t. So I suspect he’s simply trying to gain the media headlines by saying something provocative.
