Another great win for Ryder. Just a shame the WBA are the biggest joke around with their plethora of "world" titles.

Ryder's been looking good lately, but does this 'title' he now holds make him mandatory for Smith or Canelo?

I'm not sure which fight I like least for Ryder. He would have a much better chance vs Plant or Dirrell imo.

I did quite like the idea of a Lemieux fight, I wonder if they are planning to try again to make that if Canelo vacates.

I would like Ryder's chances in that fight.

He is underrated by some, due to a few close losses and sub par performances.

Lemieux is a big puncher, but has no other attributes of note.

I can see Ryder giving Lemieux a bit of a pasting, provided he is on top form.

But if he starts going through the motions though, if Could be a bad ending for him.

i agree with a lot of that, even the bjs lost was close, and ryder has improved , i remember ryders fight against the irish fella O'Kane which stuck out for me ,he has improved every fight , arnfeild fight close scrappy i thought either way on that , even the fielding fight was close , the ko of Nielsen was a statement it was nasty ko, then stopping jamie cox after , i dont want to see ryder fight smith, not made for him, i think he is ready for lemieux, i think ryder will have to get his respect early and then try to finish him early, which i think he can
