Inoue is one of those guys I would love to see. Very special fighter.
To have him in the UK, in a title fight, is a wonderful opportunity for fans over there. I know if I lived on the Blighted Isles, I would be going.

Taylor one of my top current British lads and Naoya rapidly heading to my favourites of all time.

Some of the pics flying round social media of the Inoues round Glasgow are great, Donaire announced he’s gonna be there AND Belfast next few weeks. Love this tournament format.

Sick to my stomach to be missing this show, I’ll be screaming at the telly anyway.

Taylor around the 117-111/116-112 mark, pulling away at the end. Inoue in a closer fight than ever before then take his head of around the 6th.

I'm big on Taylor, great boxer with some great performances and wins, not without fault though, as impressive as he is he can start slow sometimes and also let the red mist descend, his class has always shown though, the Martin stoppage was premature but it was a masterclass from Taylor mostly, Baranchyk is strong as they come, looks durable but easy to hit, Yigit landed plenty, whether Baranchyk thought his power wasn't worth defending or what who knows? But he took plenty shots, Taylor isn't a puncher but hits precise enough to finish guys

Taylor can easily outbox Baranchyk IMO but I still fancy Baranchyk to pull Taylor into a fight without much fuss, I think Taylor will win on points but can see Baranchyk having success and making Taylor eek out a win

I make Taylor the best boxer ever to come from Scotland but he's only had 14 fights and his inexperience makes this fight close, I this happens in 3 years its easy work

Whoah.

Josh is extremely talented and could be a Scottish great in time but he's a long way to go to be classed as being Scotlands best ever.

And I'm a huge fan.

You rate him above Bichanan Baz? I'm not so sure. I'm a massive Taylor fanboy like yourself but he has a way to go yet. I deffo agree with you re: the red mist! He's got a temper on him and can get dragged in to a tear up easily. That will be suicide against someone like Prograis. Can only hope he matures on the job quickly lol.

Yeh i think he'll eclipse Buchanan's achievements mate, still has a bit to go like but as much as I love Buchanan he hasn't got the most stacked record, 2 great wins over an ageing Laguna, a past it Ortiz and Watt, apart from that the rest are just solid wins

Not sh1tting on Buchanan though mate I doubt Taylor will ever be accepted by the Yanks the way Buchanan was but yeah if Taylor wins this he's defo up there mate

Buchanan was my old mans favourite fighter so I was brought up with tales of him every other weekend when my da was pished  He was working on a site in Paisley and actually met him! He was working as a joiner there. Crazy how someone could be at the top of the game, fighting Duran etc and then still has to burst his plums working on the tools years later!

I'm already starting to get nervous for Saturday  I expect Taylor to do a job though. I have a child free weekend so going for an early dinner with the Mrs then everyone is meeting up at my mates for the fight. I was meant to be going but I sacked it! Middle of the month and skint

I think he’ll be a superstar, great fighter, looks the part and full of charisma, if he signed with matchroom his profile would explode IMO

 I get nervous for Taylor these days as well, probably since the Davies fight, I always get the nerves when a fighter I like is in a tough one, I think he should come through though, I'm just gonna watch it in house bud, maybe watch the Saunders card when its finished and if I'm feeling brave stay up for Wilder

Could Josh have given Roberto Duran one of his hardest fights for 13 rounds ? No he certainly couldn’t

Remember Taylor has only had 14 fights, what level do you reckon Buchanan was operating at after as many fights??

Taylor might not become a 3 weight champ like Burns or have the popularity and standing of Buchanan but if progresses the way I reckon he can he'll be a better boxer (IMHO of course) than anyone from Scotland

I really don’t think this fight will be as lopsided as the poll. 😕

Me either.
I will own up to being the one voter for Baranchyk T/KO.
I didn't want to vote that, but it's a reasonable possibility in my view.
From what I have been able to watch of Baranchyk's pro fights, Taylor's defence isn't good enough to avoid getting clipped by this guy under the constant pressure he seems able to apply.
I'll be cheering Josh on for sure, but I won't be surprised if he kisses the canvas in this one :verysad:

I’ll be cheering Taylor on too. But I voted for Baranchyk Decision.

I think sometimes people vote ‘who they want to win’ rather than who they think will win.

Baranchyk is strong but doesn't seem the most defensive minded opponent, still i'd be surprised if Taylor can get him out of there

What Taylor did to Postol ranks so highly in my eyes I might be naively overlooking Baranchyk - looks like this is going to points!
