Navarrete ruined Dogboe

Post by Susej_SOG »

Man.

Poor Dogboe.

Navarrete was a hot prospect of mexican boxing. But people does know him.

I remember a lot of people talking about how great Dogboe was.

Of fact, Navarrete was not favorite by 10-1 in the first fight...

Bob Arum said that Dogboe would be a PPV african star, he was fighting in the undercards of Lomachenko.

Of fact, he is a great champion but Nava is better.

He was a former Olympian (the youngest in 2012) and was robbed in 1/4 of finales, against a japanese silver medalist.

He said he will fight in 126 pounds.

And props to Navarrete, very humble guy and has a nice boxing, a lot of tools and power.

I'm a bit confused with your post. I think it's the language barrier,

I am not being salty but using words like ruined sounds overly dramatic - you can regroup and move on sometimes that individual (Navarrete) has your number :TU:

Navarrete ruined his career.

Dogboe took a lot of punishment twice.

I remember a lot of people talking about Dogoboe being the next Azumah Nelson.

The size difference was huge. They shouldn't be fighting at the same weight.

No surprise here on the outcome. Nav had a bum hand later in the first fight and still beat Dogboe up. I'm just surprised it went as long as it did. Dogboe has a lot to think about. Move down in weight perhaps.

Navarrete was better in every aspect, talking about skills.

And you were not saying anything about this in the Canelo vs Jacobs fight.

Navarrete thrown a lot of punches, he is agile, he likes to move a lot, it's like Santa Cruz with power in both hands.

Nice hooks to the body too.

Dogboe is short but very strong, he has big shoulders, he was at least in 132 pounds in the ring.

Thats the reason why he can't make the 122 anymore.

I seriously doubt Dogboe has been "ruined". Even though Navarrete has his number Isaac can still be a top 10 fighter and maybe even win a world title again. Just because someone has your number doesnt mean a fighter is "ruined."
