...why don't you give us an example of what is a great career in your opinion, make sure we are talking about just 13 fights...
loma vs luke campbell
Re: loma vs luke campbell
I don't care about the number of fights.
Loma had like 179383 fights in amateur, and some fights in the aiba tournament.
Great career?
Márquez, Floyd, B-Hop, Manny, Morales, Trinidad, De la Hoya.
Those are great career.
Loma career is just good, but nothing special yet, he needs bigger risks and better Challenges
Re: loma vs luke campbell
... in this case you are not making these comparisons in good faith..Go ahead and tell us who exactly has achieved MORE in the first 13 fights?Susej_SOG wrote: ↑12 May 2019, 13:09 I don't care about the number of fights.

Re: loma vs luke campbell
It does not matter.
Using your won lógica Inoue is better than Edder Jofre and Tanaka is better than Miguel Canto
Lol
It's evident, Loma needs better rivals, he is not young and he is wasting his time fighting with this kind of bums...
Re: loma vs luke campbell
so obviously a return troll, i think his last posts last time before being banned were about loma too and how hes a bum

Re: loma vs luke campbell
He has achieved a lot in a limited amount of bouts.
But let's not throw the term "great" around so casually.
Five years and just 14 professional fights (including 1 defeat) against overall very good, but not elite competition, shouldn't qualify anyone for immortality.
Re: loma vs luke campbell
..don't think I ever qualified him or anyone for that matter for immortality...I still claim though he's got an excellent resume considering just 14 professional fights...incidentally, criticising him let's keep in mind he's not a cheat, he doesn't get gift decisions and he's not fighting in his own backyard like many others ..the quality of his fights and his wins is something else...Loma's goal is obviously to become an undisputed world champ and that's what he's shooting for..certainly there are better boxers out there and ALWAYS will be irrespective of who you fight next....SenorPipino wrote: ↑12 May 2019, 14:26 He has achieved a lot in a limited amount of bouts.

I like how Loma's haters think he sonehow has a poor resume despite guys like Russel Jr, Rigo, Walters, Martinez and Linares being on there.
He's got one of the best resumes today. Maybe if he was a black American he'd get tge respect he deserves.

Or he would be ridiculed.tigermoth87 wrote: ↑13 May 2019, 07:12 I like how Loma's haters think he sonehow has a poor resume despite guys like Russel Jr, Rigo, Walters, Martinez and Linares being on there.

Depends on your perspective.
But raising the color card is getting pretty trite around here.
Re: loma vs luke campbell
well hes certainly got that confident attitude that some of us like...only they dont like him
tank would prob beat him but he deserves respect, 14 fights and 13 of those are title fights, with plenty of other champs and legit contenders in there. and already moved up and been an elite in 3 divisions. has a very good but not great resume
he should fight berchelt

Re: loma vs luke campbell
Does Lomachenko still have any doubters left?
I thought I was the last, and even I can't think what more I want to see him do. Predict rounds, interviews during fights, compose poetry??
More of the same will be more than enough in what has already been a remarkable career whichever way you care to look at it.

Greatness is earned by rivalries and victories over outstanding competition.
You can't be discussed in the same breath as a Duran if your competition consists strictly of Crolla, Campbell, Pedraza and even Linares.
It's certainly not Lomachenko's fault if truly compelling matchups aren't there for him.
But it's still a standard for measuring greatness. He must seek out an ultimate challenge.
Re: loma vs luke campbell
..surely he should seek new challenges..considering the number of pro fights he's done it better than anyone else...SenorPipino wrote: ↑13 May 2019, 13:46 Beat an elite if any exist at his weight.

Re: loma vs luke campbell
What do you suggest? Move up and take on Canelo and GGG on the same night? Would that convince you?
Boxing is totally different from the days when Ali and Frazier could arrange a fight inside a 45 minute chat.
Sure Duran was great, but he could also be dirty, he could also be a quitter, and he could also be lacklustre.
Lomachenko is none of these things.
Re: loma vs luke campbell
...are all these questions to me OR the critics of Lomachenko?.. 'cause I'm actually the one who claims Loma's done more in his first 14 fights than anyone else and that he has certainly potential to be even better...Thomastearns wrote: ↑13 May 2019, 15:05 What do you suggest?
