Yarde ... Is he going to Russia to fight Kovalev ?
They seem to be ramping this fight up and I don't blame them.
Will Kovalev v Yarde take place ?
Where will it take place ?

Yekaterinburg the venue ?
Re: Yarde ... Is he going to Russia to fight Kovalev ?
There was a report of 4.2 million pounds offered to Yarde.
Apparently it's in U.S but that's not even confirmed.

I'd say Yarde is brave to fight Kovalev, but it is that money makes men brave.

Numbers look good for Yarde, it's a good match up in a weird unique venue if that's where it's rumored to take place.

Not the best place in the world to test an untested fighter is it.
Yarde is a good body puncher and Kovalev's looking a little hollow in the middle but how about team Yarde get a bit more realistic and stick him in with Burton for example on home soil.

Probably because that 4.2 million is too good to turn down.revpickles wrote: ↑16 May 2019, 11:38 Not the best place in the world to test an untested fighter is it.

He would likely obliterate Burton. This is a win - win for him. He either loses, gets paid and has the excuse that it was too much too soon and he can come again. Or he gets the huge upset and it's a gold mine for him (and Warren) going forward.
Warren hit the jackpot with Fury's performance against Wilder, so he may be hoping for a similar win with this one.

If the reports of the purse are correct I reckon they'll take it. He's been matched very conservatively so far, but everyone has a price.Fightnight Scores wrote: ↑17 May 2019, 05:23 Probably because that 4.2 million is too good to turn down.
I'm just not sure why they would pay that amount to get Yarde over to Russia. He's a mandatory too, isn't he?

When you put it that way £££ i think your right? Why not go for it-he's a solid looking fighter and a good body puncher and like you say if he loses ? - plenty of great fights left in him.Fightnight Scores wrote: ↑17 May 2019, 05:23 Probably because that 4.2 million is too good to turn down.

What level is he though, that's what i question, he's fought nobody that makes me think he will obliterate Burton never mind the Krusher.
We will see

Kovalev looked real vulnerable, if yarde has punch resistance he can win this.
