For the first time in 17 months, Billy Joe Saunders can officially look forward to a title fight.

Saunders (27-0, 13KOs) weighed in right at the 168-pound limit, while Isufi (27-3, 20KOs) tipped the scales at 167.4 pounds.

Have little interest in this and the thought of Saunders being a champion again sickens me after the way he's been in the last couple of years.

of course well we know the dirtness of boxing, but billy aint no bum is he , people were saying the same when saul won his belt, the thing is there is to many belts, i think 2 belts is enough and they should be contracted to fighteach other every 18 months

with how bad this opponent is, him being a 2 weight champ is for the moment no more impressive then him just being a mw champ. this really adds no value to his list of opposition or wins.

andy less was a good fighter to beat for a title, but this here is totally hollow and superficial. the ppl cheering two weight champ! two weight champ! r probably just bjs ball boys (even though hes totally unlikable)

Agreed. Saunders and the fight nicely summed up on sportsbetlistings.com

"Many fans believe Saunders is a despicable person outside of the ring but if he does have anything going for him in his life it’s his boxing skill inside the squared circle......Saunders has plenty of boxing skills but the former drug cheat is basically being handed the Super Middleweight Title by the WBO by meeting somebody who really has no right fighting for a world title.
Basically a mismatch in favour of Saunders."

I can't see Saunders being anymore powerful at the weight as he's not a super middleweight,if he does stop the fella it's because he's a poor opponent.

I'm not sure it's his real weight, more like he became lazy in training and an opportunity came along at supermiddle, great reward for being a drug cheat.

How the hell did Isufi get WBO no1 challenger role ?

That’s as close to a gimme as you’ll get.
