But it's tiresome to always hear this criticism that "so and so" is only in the profession for the money.

That's why most people work. Why should boxing be any different?

Nearly every boxer starts out as an amateur without any thoughts about money . obviously fighters want to earn as much as they can but most want to be as good as they can be as well and win belt's

I agree Broner wasn't that good at lightweight are super featherweight majority of his wins where from knocking out bums.If u look back at Broner's record the only two people he defeated with a name then where Antonio Demarco & Daniel Ponce De Leon & he barley beat De Leon some folks thought he even lost that fight.

Agreed when Broner was at 135 he didn't fight Ricky Burns,Omar Figueroa,are Beltran are any compeptive fight before moving up in weight,he's last fight there was against Gavin Rees.Even at 130 he didn't fight guys like Gamboa,Roman Martinez,Juan Marquez are Orlando Salido.The majority of his fights where from defeating bums!

Any fights that will make a real fight like a Jessie Vargas Rematch are Omar Figueroa Jr are even Dulorme.He could also go back to 140 and challenge some to fight are even challenge one them for a title.
