Olivares would out tough Zarate. Olivares prime at BW.

Carlos Zarate. I see it as the same fight as The Z Boys fight with Alfonso Zamora in '77. But, it will last much longer.

I think that Zarate had better combination punching and was much more accurate and close. Ruben Olivares' blows were much telegraphed and a little wide.

Zarate by KO in the 11th.

Zamora was levels below Olivares. Calling Olivares' blows being "telegraphed and a little wide" is just not correct.

Agreed. Also Zarate was happy to give up his height and work at close quarters for a tall man, despite the fact he was good at it I don't think that would serve him well against Olivares.

I find Olivares mostly overlooked in this forum for the most part. Frankly I don't see this fight being so close.
