The Ring Jan, 1956 reports Johnny Holman knocked out Boardwalk Billy Smith, Atlantic City, in the seventh round, (TV-fight), 55-10-26 in
Miami Beach.
BoxRec have Oakland Billy Smith, for his last bout against Holman, same date.
I think the bout belongs to Boardwalk Smith, a veteran Lightheavy from the east coast. There's a picture of the bout and it doesn't look like Oakland Billy Smith at all.

Oakland Billy Smith fought of Atlantic City during the end of his career. The RRB for 1956 also has that bout attached to Oakland Billy Smith's record.

Never read about the nickname Boardwalk for Oakland.
