No controversy as I saw it. Pretty clear Canelo win. Not massive but clear.

Jacobs is one of my favourite fighter's today but I wish he took more risks and threw a lot more punch's he just fell short and I bet after he watched the replay he would be kicking himself.

Jacobs lost to Canelo by world wide unanimous defeat. Oh well, not so sad. He got paid.

lol yes you did, you repeatedly said a guy scored a fight for someone he didnt, if all 3 judges have it 114-114 then that means they didnt score it for a particular fighter, ya knowSenorPipino wrote: ↑19 May 2019, 22:07 I don't "make" anything up.

Canelo won. He basically trained Jacobs from the first round to not throw punches. When Jacobs threw canelo typically responded with something hard. After a couple of body shots, Jacobs stopped throwing and he didn't start throwing again until late in the fight. Jacobs beat himself.

I really wanted Jacobs to win but Canelo won fair and square by a few rounds

Canelo beat Danny Jacobs. The American’s poor strategy cost him the fight.
There’s no controversy – the right man won.

..first off, Canelo won..second, as long as Jacobs keeps playing his tricks with his weight using the loopholes in the system, he isn't a middleweight in my book..I'm not even sure if he's a super middleweight..

Because of Jacobs' stronger finish it was a very close fight. A second watching confirms that.
So close in fact that a draw or split decision could easily have been the result in different circumstances.
However, in Vegas, under the eye of the WBC et al it's going to take a lot more than that to get the decision over Canelo.
Danny Jacobs must know this.

Personally had it a draw, but no issues with the result

Just because a boxer brings perssure, doesn't mean they win.

I’m not sure if I understand how the “controversy rating” is calculated, because only three of the fans’ scorecards had Jacobs winning. A handful scored the bout a draw, with vast majority having Canelo winning seven or eight rounds (same as the judges).Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑20 May 2019, 10:30 Just because a boxer brings perssure, doesn't mean they win.

The average fan card equates to 115-113, which is same as Dave Moretti & Steve Weisfeld's scorecards.

True. It's 7 out of 39 that didn't see Canelo winning. That doesn't equate to nearly half.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑20 May 2019, 10:56 I’m not sure if I understand how the “controversy rating” is calculated, because only three of the fans’ scorecards had Jacobs winning. It was clear Canelo victory but Jacobs fought well, especially in the second half. I think he would've had more success or won more clear rounds if he would've stuck with the orthodox stance. He was landing crisper punches. I don't know why he spent so much time boxing southpaw.
