An obscure one, but there will be a Taiwanese card tomorrow streamed live on the MOE Sports YouTube channel.
For those who are real addicts
I think it clashes with the Japanese card, which is also being shown live but behind a pay wall

Pretty much, the whole Taiwanese scene for boxing is new, so the OPBF and trying to grow Vietnam and Taiwan, as a result their's local novices....they are going from no local scene to something and starting at the very, very bottom

what i've noticed is that the tv coverage of this event is very good, despite the low-level fights and small arenaBoxing Prospect wrote: ↑18 May 2019, 08:00 Pretty much, the whole Taiwanese scene for boxing is new, so the OPBF and trying to grow Vietnam and Taiwan, as a result their's local novices....they are going from no local scene to something and starting at the very, very bottom
they're starting from nothing, but maybe is there (Taiwan/Vietnam) any prospect that is worth of notice?

For Taiwan not really, Chia Ching Hung, who is in the main event of this card is supposed to be their hope but he looked poor Vs Igarashi. Ming Hung Lee had a padded record but got exposed, and it based in the Philippines.dagilechia wrote: ↑18 May 2019, 08:04 what i've noticed is that the tv coverage of this event is very good, despite the low-level fights and small arena

In Vietnam Van Thao Tran is worth making a note of, was supposed to fight in April but the bout fell through. Ngoc Hai Nguyen scored a solid win last time out and might be of some interesting.
MOE Sports are pretty solid for production values and the OPBF are adding a legitimacy to these shows as well (hence the OPBF silver title for the main event). Going to be interesting to see if they gain traction

Re: Free boxing on YouTube
yeah, in some places boxing is non-existent, no way to watch it, at least not legally and in good quality. for example, there is no way to watch fights on Spanish tv. now it changes because DAZN is available in Spain too.characters wrote: ↑18 May 2019, 15:44 I hope soon all boxing will be availeble on youtube, I regularly can't see fights I would like to see at my location, purely because I don't live in America, or the UK, or Russia, or whatever place.
