Joyce-Parker makes a lot of sense to me, though, because they're both treading water and the winner could use that traction.
Not Parker. Too fast and too much movement. Joyce would follow him around the ring getting pot shotted for 12. If anyone is to make Joyce seem slow and plodding, it's Parker.

If I were Joyce's management, I'd be looking to get him in there with Dominic Breazeale by the end of the year or early next year. I think that'd be a great fight. He won't smash Breazeale in 1 the way Wilder did, but he'd stop him, and it'd be a fun fight, and a good, but not insurmountable test for Joyce.

In the meantime I'd say if you're gonna put him in with a guy who can move or box well in any way, you better make sure that guy is known for being chinny as sh*t for the time being. Until Joyce can do something about that hand speed, if indeed he can.

The main thing that's gonna make or break Joyce ultimately I think is how his stamina and chin holds up at the top. His style demands exceptional stamina, and a good chin because he's gonna get a hit a lot. We won't really have those questions answered until he's faced with better competition.

But yeah I can imagine a guy like Joseph Parker outboxing the sh*t out of him too.

Someone like Hughie Fury is like 50/50 on the line for me where I can imagine him outboxing Joe, but I can also imagine Joe wearing him down, and stopping him over time. So that'd be an interesting one. Doubtful we see it at this stage though.

Then it's a good fight for Parker to readvertise himself. Else Joyce'd be right up there for the other top-tenners if he won.

I'd favour Parker, but I think they're in mutual need of kicking on with their careers, so if they can't find anyone else...

I think Parker is one of the most overrated fighters at heavyweight.

Not sure, then again I don't particularly rate Joyce either.

Joyce can easily be manoeuvred to get a world title shot, can't see him beating any of them though other than Charr!
