Any Chance Floyd Unretires again?

Post by Bjl12 »

Seems like this retirement is for real. Floyd has fallen out of the spotlight completely. Don't think the Pacman rematch happens or even the carnival show with Khabib...

Anyone disagree?

He'll come back eventually. They always do.

Yup, me too. The man did rode into the sunset this time. Even Leonard Ellerbe when asked he does hints that this time is for real. The goat is 42 already he just looks young as hell! what a good life no drinking nor smoking can do to ya uh?

It’s been almost four years since Floyd Mayweather Jr. competed in a legitimate fight and he’s about 42½ years of age.

Money May is likely to compete in one or two more highly-lucrative exhibition bouts, but we won’t see him competing in a legitimate boxing fight ever again.

I’m actually surprised that we haven’t seen any posts submitted to this forum alleging that Floyd Mayweather Jr. has chosen to retire, because he’s “ducking” Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford!

That would be funny if someone posted a comment like that and sincerely meant it!

No.
He will stick to punching women and exhibitions.

No chance.

Mayweather earns millions in his business ventures and fighting an occasional exhibition. He doesn't need boxing.

He's 42. He knows what his body can and can't do anymore. He's not interested in the grind.

He'll continue to hint at some sort of return. He loves playing with the public's mind and watching the media run with the story.

And Mayweather always enjoys leading Pacquiao on and getting him falsely excited about a second bout.

Manny never stops falling for Mayweather's tounge-in-cheek, vague remarks about a return go. Mayweather has fun torturing the Filipino.

As most have said. He can still make decent money on exhibition bouts. Why take the unnecessary risk of a real fight? Anything less than a fight for the middleweight title would not be worth the risk. If he didnt go for it when Cotto had the lineal belt I cant imagine him considering it now.

When people stop talking about him, he will return. Mark my words. He can't stand to not be seen.

There's a whole lot of time left until people stop talking about him.

Floyd won’t be back.

He was never the same after the number Conner McGregor did on him.
