Warren must be doing a load on this fight with the 2 purses for the Main Event alone - can’t see BT’s right fee subsidising over 1m alone.

Be a good fight this. More of a boxing match than warringtons last 2. Galahad can do this but not sure hes got the engine to set a good pace to win enough rounds. He tends to box at the level of opposition and just do enough.

I don't agree with Dom saying Selby and Frampton were past their best. You could say Selby wasn't fit for the weight anymore, but Frampton had no excuses. Was a 50-50 fight and the better man won.

Galahad is going into his first world title shot, he's going to be really hungry and go for it. He and his team believe he won't get another opportunity again. He will make it tough for Warrington.
117-111 is about what I predicted, Galahad will be competitive and win rounds in the first half of the fight, but then Warrington will run away with it.

As I say, I wouldn't be surprised to see Galahad quit. Not saying he will, but he has never really been put under pressure before and we don't know how he will react.

He may surprise me, but he seems the sort that will start to feel sorry for himself when a fight starts to drift away from him.

Not a chance.
Barry wins this, unless Warrington pulls out.

You sound very confident, so confident as to say that Warrington's only chance of keeping his title is to pull out the fight?

What makes you so sure?
What has Galahad done to convince you he is so great?

Other than tell everyone how great he is, of course, usually after beating second rate opposition.

JOSH WARRINGTON has no interest in meeting Kid Galahad for a drink after their big world title fight even if they are all hugs after the final bell.

Galahad (26-0, 15 KOS) claims he has no life outside of boxing and is “married” to the noble art.

Warrington (28-0, 6 KOS) insists that his mandatory challenger will need to find outside interests after he defends his IBF featherweight title against his fellow Yorkshireman at First Direct Arena, Leeds on Saturday June 15.

Warrington teased: “He is pretty boring. You wouldn’t wanna go out for a pint with him, would you? He’d have nothing to say.

“Everyone is different. That might suit him, living like a monk but I think you need to have a switch off from boxing because it is constantly there.

“You might think you’re always hungry, but it is during that little bit of time away living life when you realise there is a little bit more hunger for boxing in there.

“My way of going about it has done me all right. I’m a family man, I like to socialise with my pals and enjoy life.

“When I’m at home, I switch off and boxing gets left at the door. I go home to my little girls and I’m daddy and want to make my wife happy that’s me.

“When I come to work in the gym it is learning. I give it 100%, and train like a world champion should.”

Not really. Mark Bateson doesn’t get that in The Pavillion at Elland Road and even then some of his best sellers aren’t from Leeds. Jack is the only one to add real value.

This is going to be a great fight. Possibly a contender for FOTY.

Enough said.

Galahad (26-0, 15 KOs) and trainer Dominic Ingle believe that Warrington might have softened since he became the father to twins last year and started securing his financial future.

Warrington scoffed at the suggestion, but Galahad hit back: “I haven’t got a missus. I am married to boxing.

“I don’t have a life. If you open me up my DNA is boxing. I have no other family or interests. It is pure boxing for me.

“Even on a day off, I pop in the gym or just relax at home. I don’t have many days off.”

Galahad, 29, said: “Boxing isn’t about how fast you get there. It is about staying there for as long as you can and everyone moves at a different pace.

“I have had certain things happen to me, but I have always stayed focused and I am here now so with this opportunity I am not letting it slip away.

“We’re here in 2019 and closing in on a world title. We’re gonna win it and hold it for as long as we can.”

Disagree. He'll be a typical ingle front runner. Won't handle the intensity

What’s Sean O‘Hagan‘s background in boxing? Was he involved in the sport before Josh?

I used to be a big fan of Galahad as a boxer when he was coming through winning all Frampton and Quigg's old belts, had some good domestic wins over Wale and Dickens, also schooled Dos Santos who went on to fight Magdaleno for a World title at Super Bantamweight and shared the ring with some good fighters but after the drug ban, his knobby behaviour and his lack of remorse I've went right off him totally, I still rate him as a boxer though, he's a good capable switch hitter and carries a bit of pop when he sits down on his punches

Warrington on the other hand is one of the nicest guys around at the minute and improving all the time, I tipped him to beat Selby and Frampton but i was far from certain, he's got a great engine, is super strong, holds a shot well and has underrated skills and power, Frampton says he hit him harder than anyone he's fought

I'd love to see Warrington stop Galahad, theres a chance that he can wear him down after a tricky start, Warrington wont be deterred, Selby's slick skills didn't do much against Warrington's relentless aggression but as much as it pains me to say it I quite fancy Galahad here to stick it out, I think he has the skills and variety to give Warrington problems he's great defensively and is hard to hit clean, i think he's got the mettle as well to tough it out, I'm hoping im wrong though, Galahad hasn't fought anyone of note since the comeback, he looked good against Clary in America but Warrington genuine world class

I favor Warrington by close but clear decision; 116-112ish. Clary had good success early on and could not sustain it. Warrington will just keep coming.

KG needs to be able to seriously hurt Warrington to get this done. I do not think that he will accomplish that.
