Tuncay Kaya next for Hunter

Post by TheGoods »

Blackpool Friday June 23.

Looks a fair test yet one he should pass. Big fights with Pickering and Dunne almost certain to follow. Anyone seen much of Kaya? Remember him against Armour but not seen much else of him.

:TU: Dunne was given the option of fighting Hunter and his team turned it down. Dunno why but its the best choice if u ask me. Roll on Blackpool....

Dunne already has a fight on june 3rd, his team have said that its the end of the year they are looking to get hunter so maybe this came a bit to early and hopefully they can meet sometime later on this year.

That's the plan , Dunne's Dunlin fight already been scheduled when his team were offered the fight . They saidhad to Hunter's camp that they want to keep the June 3rd date and could he fight Hunter later in the year . Hunter's camp didn't seem to mind too much and agreed .

So it will probably be , Kaya , Pickering as a mandatory . Although the EBU have said that should he make a voluntary defence in the meantime (Kaya) he may apply to be granted an extra 3 months before defending his mandatory (due by 28th of October I believe) . So it looks like it will be either Pickering or Dunne in September/October and then whoever he didn't face (should he win) 3 months later .

Pickering had plans to fight Dunne until he was beaten by Hunter , so it looks like no matter what happens Dunne will be given his chance against either Hunter or Pickering .

I have to say I really admire Hunter's activaty , not a common site now days having a fighter as active as him at the level he's at .

I almost forgot to give a prediction on the fight . I think Hunter will dominate and stop him late .

Ive seen about five of his fights.....he's a rough come forward sort but at times quite crude but he usually has a good work rate. He's got a pretty good chin but a saw him get ko'd by a bodyshot in spain. Hunter should be able to outbox him pretty comprehensively before scoring a mid-round stoppage me thinks.
