Jamamb has me thinking. The height and reach advantage are pretty significant and Loma's style may be hindered. I still say Loma wins, but he's not outside the realm of possibilities.

I do think Luke can win a few rounds but he doesn't punch as hard as Linares so wont be able to deter Loma. Despite being the smaller man Loma is the harder puncher too.

I do think Haney can beat Loma in 6 months time, he has more power than Luke and has a better defence and, despite only being 20, has more strength.

i think its at least worth a bet with loma being a big big fave
I'm a big fan of Campbell. And I have thought about this fight.
Luke has a good shot at a win here IMO
The common opponent they share is Linares. Campbell did alright against Linares and I think he has improved since. Loma Vs Linares was a bit touch and go, I also think it took a small toll on Loma.
You make some good points, there Jammy. Lukes is bigger and a bit younger, way I see it is 60/40 to Loma by decision.

Height and reach is useless when your opponent has bags more talent than you. Loma will crowd Campbell and beat him senseless. The gay mags won't be booking Luke to do anymore naked modelling after this, he'll be too badly mangled!

Campbell; he's younger, taller, has the reach advantage and is improving as he's going and even avenged the first loss of his career last year with a unanimous decision over Yvan Mendy who hadn't lost either since they last fought.

Lomachenko though, he's just in a class of his own. He took apart Crolla who fought 24 good rounds against Linares, Pedraza who had just beat the much more experienced Beltran to win the WBO title and had world title reigns at super featherweight before that, I have to mention Linares once again who hadn't lost since 2012 until he ran into Lomachenko and in his last 4 fights had gone all 12 rounds against Crolla twice, Luke Campbell and Mercito Gesta, it meant nothing when he was put away in 10 rounds. And those are Lomachenko's last 3 fights.
That's before I could mention the oversized but arguably one of the best pound for pound boxers at the time in Rigondeux who quit after 6 rounds.

Can Campbell win, Yes, but he will have to put in the performance of a career and when I say that I mean he will never fight better and he will never be able to repeat that performance along with making absolutely 0 mistakes over 12 rounds. Otherwise I see this fight as Lomachenko adding another win and name to his record.

Like the majority, I have Loma as an overwhelming favourite. But, I honestly think the fight will be a good watch & I think Campbell will do himself a lot of credit.

I seriously rate Campbell's trainer Shane McGuigan. Shane will have Luke Campbell at his very best.

See I would have the opposite opinion of Shane - I really don’t rate him and find him technically suspect in his advice to fighters especially while the fight is on going. His advice the Frampton in 2nd LSC was hopeless.

He gets his fighters in good shape but that’s his fitness background.
