Re: Gennady Golovkin vs. Steve Rolls - June 8, 2019
So even if I provided a video of Loeffler and Golovkin confirming my claims, which I can do very easily, you won’t revise your opinion?greg wrote: ↑29 May 2019, 13:32 Why would Golovkin care about encouraging subscribers in Canada? is there any PROOF of receiving financial incentives for increasing DAZN’s customer base?
My understanding has been all along that it was DAZN that in fact wanted to increase their base and that's the reason why they "helped" GGG take this particular decision..
I don't doubt Golovkin has officially taken responsibility for the Steve Rolls fight for fear of losing face I suppose...
I don’t really enjoy engaging in discussions about faith-related matters, whereby beliefs cannot be disproved by real-world facts.
I’ll let you believe whatever you want to believe.
According to those that attend the “Church of the GGG”, Golovkin can do no wrong! Everyone else is to blame!

Re: Gennady Golovkin vs. Steve Rolls - June 8, 2019
I can provide a video of Golovkin saying he chose Rolls because he was Canadian and it helps DAZN build their subscribers in that territory. His words.
Would that suffice?
You clearly haven’t researched this situation, which is the reason why I’m enjoying toying with you.
Be honest, do you genuinely believe that GGG is blameless for facing Steve Rolls next?
I look forward to your reply.

Quote my post and copy the link into your browser.
I think that the forum has somehow disabled videos.
I’ve posted loads in the past and only my recent ones have failed.

Re: Gennady Golovkin vs. Steve Rolls - June 8, 2019
I have no link to provide since it's just my opinion.
But it does seem likely that if DAZN invests $100 million into a fighter, it means that the company demands some input into the choice of opponents.
Golovkin and Loeffler might have provided DAZN with a list of prospective opponents, that included Rolls.
But the company probably had the option to shoot down any one of them if it felt the opponent simply couldn't be sold or justified.
Just as DAZN wanted Joshua unveiled in America and would only accept an American or American based challenger.
It's just unrealistic to believe DAZN doesn't get involved in product control. Not when it's handing out a fortune in contracts.

ffs dude! the caption of this video is "GOLOVKIN REVEALS REAL REASON WHY STEVE ROLLS WAS SELECTED BY DAZN"Enlightened-One wrote: ↑29 May 2019, 14:28 Quote my post and copy the link into your browser.

Watch the video and listen to his actual words.
Loeffler and Golovkin clearly state that they chose Rolls, because he was Canadian.
They then detailed other fighters they considered.
Play the video back two or three times if you don’t believe me.
Re: Gennady Golovkin vs. Steve Rolls - June 8, 2019
..DAZN as their "employer" helped them chose Canadian..next time you should at least read the caption..incidentally that's NOT the link I expected...Enlightened-One wrote: ↑29 May 2019, 14:37 Watch the video and listen to his actual words.

Re: Gennady Golovkin vs. Steve Rolls - June 8, 2019
The caption is meaningless. Loeffler and Golovkin’s words are the only thing that matters.
They both clearly claim to selecting Steve Rolls.
Two human beings saying words that match my claim - that’s what happened.
What they said was almost word-for-word what I claimed. And that was no mere coincidence.

What do you mean? Using my fully-functional eyeballs and ears to see two grown men confirm my claim? Words being uttered from the proverbial horse’s mouth.
I didn’t come up with a theory.
Everything I’ve said in this thread has been based on GGG’s own words.
You challenged me to provide proof - and I immediately supplied it.
End of discussion.

Whilst some fans seem unhappy with this matchup its a sure thing the DAZN will deliver the fights we want. It would be gross financial irresponsibility for them not to do so.
This is nothing like a champion sitting on his belts, cherry picking opponents. Golovkin is a free agent right now regarding mandatories, once more back in the role of a challenger
Instead this is an intriguing matchup with 'Cinderella' Steve Rolls hardly able to believe his luck after the also unbeaten Brandon Adams decided to go for the belt held by Jermall Charlo.
Steve Kim's article (link below) should be clear enough for most of us.

Re: Gennady Golovkin vs. Steve Rolls - June 8, 2019
I previously made the following prediction in this very thread, which appears to have come to fruition, because GGG’s die-hard fans are either wrongly blaming the choice of opponent squarely on DAZN or they’re dishonestly claiming that Steve Rolls is a decent fighter.
How utterly stupid can people be? They’re actively ignoring GGG’s own words in order to defend this blatant mismatch!
Look at my prophecy and see how it came to fruition by reading through some of the bizarre posts in this thread:

Sometimes I hate being right, because there are a handful of lunatics frequenting this forum.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑28 May 2019, 20:03 Yet there will inevitably be many GGG die-hards that will passionately fabricate a fictional reason to justify Golovkin’s decision to face Steve Rolls.
They’ll either maintain that Gennadiy’s peers are ducking him, even though GGG Promotions didn’t bother contacting any of his big-name rivals, or they’ll passionately argue that Steve Rolls is a legitimate world-rated opponent at 160lbs, like they embarrassingly pretended to claim that Vanes Martirosyan was one of the best middleweights the division had to offer for his mismatch against Golovkin.

..surely there's a much better place for your predictions and prophecies...wasting your energy enlightening lunatics here barely worths your precious time..
