Who has the best chance of an upset?

Post by oogiebe »

The Top three HW's are fighting over the next couple of months. Who do you think has the best chance of being upset? I've thought about it hard and Ruiz, as the best of the three opponents has the best chance to pull off the upset, but we're talking less than 10% of a chance.

I guess I'd go with Schwarz just because I know nothing about him at all save for his record. That being said, I doubt he's even particularly competitive.

I expect Breazeale will be a KO victim within 3 rounds. Possibly 1.

Only way Ruiz will win a round is if AJ takes the round off. If he takes more than 1 or 2 off I don't get what he's doing.

schwarz is total trash, so even though fury seems more erratic and perhaps unreliable then wilder and aj id say not schwarz

i think ruiz is made for aj to batter

ill go breazeale because i think wilder can fight emotionally and perhaps be drawn into a sloppy slugfest, which is doms best chance. wilder should still have too much of everything and batter him, but i think breazeale has the best odds of having his moments

Has to be breazeale. Though combined I'd give less than 5%.

..just guessing:

Schwarz being the weakest link in the chain, AJ the best of the three... I'll go Breazeale ..let's say 5-10% :maybe:

Well Wilder is by far the worst of the three main heavyweights, so I’ll go for him.

Breazeale not because he's any good but Wilder seems the most beatable out of the big 3. but still, i give him only 5-10% chances. I give 1% to Ruiz and Schwarz but i'm probably too generous.

Of course, Breazeale. Wilder is the most vulnerable and Breazeale is big, determined, while he can hit hard too.

I think they're all extremely unlikely, but I voted for Brezeale because I hope he can pull the upset.

Schwarz.

Because Fury is emotionally erratic and you never know when he just might walk away from everything during the course of a fight.

Breazeale.

Might land a good shot, however unlikely.

Wilder has been buzzed many times, even by Fury when he was really tired, but Wilder somehow stays on his feet doesn’t he.

He does. Still, Tom would require a huge mental lapse on the part of Fury, which I don’t see happening and Ruiz is so completely outgunned by AJ that the Californian stands the best chance.

Agreed.

There's a certain kind of unpredictability about Deontay Wilder because of his style. If he can't impose himself on Breazeale early then it could be a long difficult night for Wilder.

Ruiz has an awful lot to do, probably too much and Schwartz being several leagues out of his class can only be hoping for a lucky swing.

Well I think there is no way Ruiz can get a decision over Joshua in his breakout fight in America. They will favourably judge toward AJ

Schwartz, I don't know enough about him. But what little I saw on YouTube, I don't give him a chance

Breazeale is very hittable, and Wilder hits very hard, so I think it will be a blow out. But as people say above, Breazeale does have power, so as unlikely as it is, I'd go for Breazeale.

I see Breazeale as a fairly ordinary puncher. Not a big hitter at all. Certainly doesn't possess the punch to bother top guys.

Hard to see him having enough of anything to fend off Wilder.

I voted Fury-Schwarz even though I totally get why Wilder-Breazeale is winning.

Fury's personality is inconsistent to put it mildly. AJ-Ruiz shouldn't get any votes.
