The AJ invincibility is permanently demolished. He hasn't the skills to adapt to a safety first Wlad style.

I@m not really an AJ "fan"

I'm not taking anything away from Ruiz, but you could see AJ wasn't quite right tonight.
Rob Mac was talking like they were trying to save energy as early as R2.
I was struck when AJ asked McCracken 'why do I feel like this'

It was at the end of round 3 I think.

He wasn't 'right' because his opponent could land on him every time he attacked.

Well what a turnout that turnout , turned out to be . ... .... Missed it , turned it on at rnd 5 , , first thing i noticed AJ looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights , then heard the commentator say he'd been dropped twice , and i thought well the way your going fighting scared , your gonna get dropped again , wife called me out the room and i missed the stoppage , the little i did see AJ was very tentative , did'nt want to get hit .

But i have said many many times , he's a big stiff muscle bound bRUNO TYPE , WITH NO STAMINA , SO IT DOES'NT SUPRISE ME , wILDER WILL TAKE HIM OUT WITH one shot

I've got to say, Joshua doesn't seem to care much. 50m in the bank, grossly overpaid for mostly easy defences.

I think Joshua will lose the rematch in a manner similar to Price/Thompson II. I think the pressure and expectation will absolutely crush him, especially with the better schooled Ruiz in better shape punishing him at every opportunity.

AJ was way below par tonight obviously, but still.

Nb. I thought Parker got a MR style home decision.
Your entitled to your opinion Skanky :TU:
I thought Parker lost when I saw it live, 2 subsequent viewings and I truly believe Parker beat Ruiz. It was close and a heck of a lot of punches were thrown. Also Ruiz didn't even buzz Parker.

Over earning. Not sustainable, now he’s been plucked he might be more realistic and maybe just maybe our PPV’s May come down.

A lot of boxers are on PPV due to AJ.

Yeah I just watched that again today and revised my opinion, started to think Ruiz was more of a threat. That was a close fight. Parker was aided by the fact he takes a better punch than Ruiz.

Did not pay, Woke to check this thread. Expected AJ to have already won. Saw that AJ was down. Sprinted downstairs and paid!

Will enjoy the repeat

I've never liked or rated AJ. And I'm delighted for Ruiz. But I wish it had been Fury or Wilder first. Or Dillian.

Fair play to Ruiz, I didn't expect that at all. Joshua's punch resistance really looks to be a problem going forward, the rematch is no formality that's for sure. And there's a new player at the top of the division, things are getting very interesting, no unblemished records in the top 5.

Was a set up. AJ/Hearn knew they had no decent fight later this year. Wilder’s already announced his next 2 fights. So they thought, fuück it, we’ll have 2 fights with Ruiz.

Any time Joshua tries to put punches together for a KO Ruiz will let rip the faster, more accurate combinations.

You can not make Joshua more talented than he is between now and the rematch. Ruiz has more talent and zero fear of AJ. AJ will have a lot of fear of Ruiz!
