He is a great champion and a true gentleman
Very humble person and he showed what boxing it's really, a sport of gentlemen, a sport of respect.
Props to him, and I wish him the best in his career and life.
Very honest person with good feelings.
Massive respect to Anthony Joshua

Yes, awesome performance in defeat, showing great character in a time of disaster.
The mark of a true champion.

I don't want to make insulting statements about Joshua, because he indeed is a disciplined athlete, but I don't feel sorry for him at all. The guy has always been given so many dividends in advance, from Olympic Gold to the title shots and recognition as the best HW. Today it was well seen, that some of the things came too early.

Hopefully he'll learn from this. He says he likes to figure out his opponents during the fight as opposed to too much prep beforehand.DrDuke wrote: ↑02 Jun 2019, 07:17 I don't want to make insulting statements about Joshua, because he indeed is a disciplined athlete, but I don't feel sorry for him at all. On the night he just could get a handle on Ruiz after all the chaos of round 3. Andy Ruiz didn't back off all night and it became a nightmare when he couldn't recover.
Like he said, this is nothing compared to some of the crap he's been through in his life.
AJ sees all this, and now we will see what he's going to do about it.
