It's not about whether Ruiz is better than Joshua's other opponents. He has the more appropriate style and skills to beat Joshua.
This doesnt mean that he would necessarily beat Parker or Povetkin or Whyte. Styles do make fights, its not a cliché.

Yes,
he beat Parker imo and non of rest would beat him, only one for me is Tyson fury that would beat Ruiz due to his speed, movement and size advantage , all rest are too slow both with hands and feet, I think people forget Ruiz was a quality amateur with a great record of something like 106-5 his fundamentals are better than anyone else’s other than usyk at the heavier weights, fastest hands, throes Great combinations, that not 1 single other fighter out of every single name mentioned in this thread does or can throw, best body puncher again at heavier weight classes and best proven chin, only time he’s ever been down both as either Amateur and pro was last night and it was a full blown, heavy left hook, flush on the button by a big elite heavyweight with a 95% KO ratio, and he was totally aware and clear headed and straight back up even with that, his shorter, faster shots will cause everyone problems including even Usyk if he stays at heavyweight, he’s brave and sits in the pocket and opens up with you as you throw, if he stays in the gym and keeps working hard he will show even more just how good he is imo
