Re: BoxRec New Rankings
Nah i reckon this is how it should it be
1 Fury
2 Joshua (has only lost one match)
3 Povetkin
4 Ruiz Jr (Only won once)
Just cause Ruiz beat the legendary AJ doesn't mean hes top of everything.

And why? Based on your opinion that AJ is worse than Whyte? He beat Dillian fair and square so no reason to rate him below. Rankings are based on achievements and not subjective opinions .HomicideHenry wrote: ↑02 Jun 2019, 14:48 ((SMH)) Fury #4? Below Joshua? Lol

I am too but more than everything I’m annoyed with myself for not seeing more of Ruiz beforehand. I’ve always known that as far as skills go AJ is not exactly that good but thought it’s his tremendous athleticism that let’s him win his fights. But other than this I should have seen this coming, even after Povetkin fight that could’ve well ended like this, would’ve Pov been more durable and resilient.

Re: BoxRec New Rankings
No because Whyte is more than deserving of a title shot at this point. He's not lost since Joshua. He's beaten Parker. At the minute I rank him higher ONLY because he deserves that shot at Fury, Wilder or Ruiz. H2H Whyte most likely loses to Joshua, but I still rank him just slightly higher because politics has held him back.TempleSlave wrote: ↑05 Jun 2019, 06:27 And why? Re: BoxRec New Rankings
Ruiz has to go to number one for the time being, his win over Joshua is the best recent win of any Heavyweight.
Had Fury stayed down in the 12th Wilder would have a genuine argument, as would Fury had he got the decision that night.
The fact is that a win counts for more than a draw does, regardless of opinion.
