Lol. Yep. They tried to keep Tyson out of trouble and they tried to keep Bowe from getting too fat!

Re: The upset of the century ?
I'd go with Rahman vs Lewis and tarver vs Jones but not the rest but they were both just one punch landing to cause a ko where as Ruiz was beating AJ before the stoppage similar to Douglas vs TysonEnlightened-One wrote: ↑02 Jun 2019, 05:45 Hasim Rahman versus Lennox Lewis?
Tyson Fury versus Wladimir Klitschko?
Bernard Hopkins versus Felix Trinidad?
Antonio Tarver versus Roy Jones Jr.?
Lamon Brewster versus Wladimir Klitschko?
Corrie Sanders versus Wladimir Klitschko?
Carlos Baldomir versus Zab Judah?
Ricardo Mayorga versus Vernon Forrest?
Bernard Hopkins versus Kelly Pavlik?
Marcos Maidana versus Adrien Broner?
Glen Johnson versus Roy Jones Jr.?

Yep, I have to agree with that. Sick and tired of their endlessly delaying the handful of good fights that could be made.tigermoth87 wrote: ↑02 Jun 2019, 03:17 It's my favorite upset.
I love that AJ and Wilder lost a fortune by ducking each other.
I wish I could have seen Hearn's face after the stoppage.

I hadn't thought of that..
Ruiz is obviously one of those guys who needs to keep busy.
The problem for him now is that now he is champion, he's going to be fighting twice a year, 3 times tops if he keeps hold of his belts.
Re: The upset of the century ?
He may be a fighting champion, who knows. Depends on who holds the strings. I don't imagine a very long reign anyway. Kudos to him for his performance, but I think it was more a flawed AJ than a world beater Ruiz.Syntax Error wrote: ↑02 Jun 2019, 16:18![]()
