Ruiz Aint No Welliver Joshua Aint No Charlie Z

Post by Kronkpride »

First off....no way in hell could Anthony Joshua ever knock Chauncy Welliver down. Andy Ruiz got exposed for not being in the league of immovable objects. He is no Welliver...no Chuvalo...no McCall. But I do want to say congratulations to Andy for getting back up and showing that the muscle bound Joshua is a mirage of a tough man and even more brittle than he is. People often get fooled by the looks of boxers so I was glad to see the chiseled man thoroughly dominated by the flabby fighter last night. Joshua was being given all kinds of credit because he looks like an Adonis. The reality is though that his body style is not conducive to having good stamina, recuperating quickly, or taking a good punch. Looks are deceiving and Joshua showed that perfectly.

Now onto the mouth piece spit out. Joshua aint no Charlie Z. Charlie Z bounced back from his spitting episodes and took Deontay Wilder's power better than any man alive has. Charlie Z even sent Wilder reeling when he landed on him. Wilder is another guy who aint no Welliver in terms of taking a punch. He's a skinny bean pole who can be moved by just about anybody. But he has that massive power and he does have stamina and recovery ability. Wilder is well above Joshua but none of them have the supreme god given chin that Welliver has. In an unlimited round fight Welliver would take out every one of these fake champions out there today. Mark my words....Anthony Joshua will not recover from his mouth piece spitting episode to do what Charlie Z did. Anthony Joshua will never have the growth in his game to take Wilder's power. In fact he is so brittle that he will likely never even get to the point of fighting Wilder. Hell he won't even man up like Wilder did to accept Charlie Z's challenge. We ought to just scrap all these bum fights with Fury, Wilder, Joshua and Ruiz and let Welliver and Charlie Z fight to settle who the best in the world is. :box:

LOL Armageto…...Darrel Madison is also No Welliver.

Today is a day to celebrate the irony of reality. This damn forum has been so full of people who pump up the muscular bodies and tear down the flabby bodies. This place is also full of people who value dishing out power shots way over being able to take power shots. I realize we do live in an era where the fights are prematurely ended so the #1 skill of being able to take a punch is diminished by the rules. But that is the #1 skill in boxing. You cannot beat a man who you cannot knock down. These days they will call time out after 12 rounds and declare a victor but that is not how a real contest should be. The fights should go on until someone actually wins. Judges should not even be involved in the sport. The biggest problem today is that they are. The reality of Anthony Joshua is that he could ever hang in an unlimited round era. He cannot take power shots very well and his body style is grossly inadequate for long distance endurance. Everybody here was asking if he was the greatest of all time. He could not ever hang with the greatest fighters. James Toney would school him.....Chauncy Welliver...Oliver McCall....George Chuvalo. He could never stop them and he could never outlast them. As far as Chuvallo goes.....his fights with Ali were not concluesive...they were not real contests. Chuvalo should have been allowed to compete until one man can no longer cmpete and he would have won. Only the rules prevented him from being The Greatest. The same damn rules changed this era as well. Wladimir could not have beaten Chauncy Welliver or James Toney in a real contest. Vitali though could have gave them a run for their money. Vtali had the #1 skill in the sport as well. The unteachable skill that is only given by god. The ability to take a punch from any man alive.

Today I celebrate the myth of the tall muscular fighters being superior being shattered. Today I celebrate the irony of the mouth piece spitting and the triangle of Wilder, Joshua and Charlie Z. Today I celbrate the fat man taking down the muscle man. Today is a great day to be a boxing fan and today just goes to show how much the current rules are effecting who is considered the baddest man alive and how much each skill in boxing is worth. This aint modeling MF'R! :yay:

You people have been mocking me years. You still call me crazy even after I proved the whole lot of you wrong time after time. The whole horde told me there would be no way Chauncy Welliver would ever be a top heavyweight in the world when I adopted his rise somewhere near Boxrec#300. We went to #5 in the world with the WBO and WBC! We almost got the shot at the title. That old mf'r Tank Williams got the gift of the century to derail is when timeout was unlawfully called after 12 rounds in Macau China. We would have outlasted that old mf'r and any other man on earth with the old school pure boxing laws of fight until the other man cannot fight. Most of you people still cannot admit that the rise of Chauncy Welliver was one of the greatest boxing accomplishments of the last 50 years. The god damn Klitschko's knew what so many of you never realized. That is why they ducked us and ran for so long. Nobody wants any part of a fat man who cannot be knocked down. Even in the era f the time out victor we would have exposed the Klitschko's.

Besides that.....I was there on day 1 with Charlie Z. I predicted his rise to greater things after his mouth piece spitting. You all said he would never be relevant in a ring again. His matches with Wilder, Mayweather Sr. and others are more well known than the majority of title matches over the last decade. He's one of the more well known boxing personalities of recent times. Again I saw what would happen that you people could not see.

Jenna J and On The Ropes boxing radio. Who said she would be the greatest female boxing interviewer of the era? Who set her up personally on the path to interview the who's who in boxing? How many times do I have to show you I am the preeminent precursor to success in the boxing world? fornicate an Eddie Hearn. He is a poor mans Stacy Goodson. Unless I say that someone is going to be great they are not going anywhere. And when I say someone is going to be great the whole horde of boxrec infidels cannot do a thing to stop it. :bag:

Messer  I'll give you some credit for the Jenna J and Charlie Z thing but.... Welliver, though he's a good guy, was never going to really be "the guy". He was alot like JD Chapman back in the day. Anyone can fight a bunch of hand picked dead men and get ranked amongst the top. Faruq Saleem did it feasting on 0-4, 1-5, 0-10, etc types.

It is now The Motor City Dispatcher. I tell mf'rs where to go and how to get there.

I beg to differ Henry. Chauncy Welliver would have likely been The Man with unlimited round rules. He at least would have been in the top 5 just the way the WBO and WBC had him. Vitali....injury prone. James Toney.....bad mf'r but a coin flip on who can last longer. Oliver McCall......probably too old to outlast Welliver but definitely a bad mf'r. I thought for awhile Tua was in that league too but he tasted the canvas and showed his true colors and why he ducked Welliver for so long. Very few others are in the realm. God given punch resistance is a very rare thing. Welliver was really 1 of a kind in his era as Lights Out and Oliver were holdovers from the previous era. Welliver is still young enough right now to be in contention if the old rules of fight to the end were reapplied to boxing. I think it would still be him holding the crown. Picture it.....Chauncy Welliver KO 97 James Toney. Chauncy Welliver KO 54 Oliver McCall. Chauncy Welliver KO 33 Vitali Klitschko. That is what records of champions should look like. 12 rounds is some bullshit. :shame:

And if all fights were 50 rounds & 3oz gloves & outdoors in the blazing sun & referees only gave counts Jim Jeffries would be the greatest of all time and Tex Cobb would have beaten Larry Holmes.

But that's not boxing TODAY and hasn't been for 100 years. Besides this is "the sweet science", the art of hitting without getting hit. Not a toughman contest.

Welliver, last time I checked, is 57-12-5 (23) and his best win was either punch-drunk Rob Calloway or the ancient Bert Cooper.

I know in your mind if something is possible in some alternative dimension then it'd happen here--- but that's not how things work in this universe.

Real fans deal in reality. Not in hypothetical scenarios. You may as well be asking whether Mighty Mouse could beat up Superman.

I agree, Madison was much better than Welliver. It took you a few years to come around, but I'm glad you did man!

Good to see you are still alive and Chauncey's #1 fan still. Hope all is well man....

That would be a damn interesting throw down. Much more exciting than the common DAZN or ESPN event.

It would be about rules. Right now you people accept time out being called after 12 rounds. Down from the 15 you accepted before. Who is to tell how low you would go? I certainly have no faith in what you have come to accept. Men aren't beaten unti they are truly beaten no matter what people falsely claim.

Charlie Z has a bit of quicks...a bit of power....a bit of punch resistance. He has absolutely no stamina though. 2 minues and he is gassed. Then he calls time out and declares a victory. If he can he will sneak up on you after that and land more shots and try to declare 2 or more victories from the same encounter. I see you people out there with him. Taking pictures with the UBF champ in his 99-0 hats on. Getting autographs and posing for selfies with the UBF belt. I simply don;t trust you people to clearly be able to judge the winner. In a fair contest....Chauncy Welliver plays with him into the 2nd round and then buries him. But like I said, it is all about the acceptance of the rules. You fools might be accepting 30 second time outs that night. You certainly don't strive for accepting definitive results anymore.

Chauncy's titties probably weigh more than Charlie Z. What's the catchweight for this mystical contest? Or does it benefit Charlie Z if there is no limit.. as Chauncy will have no motivation to get in any kind of shape?

Charlie Z has tangled with Wilder.....Derek The Giant as well. Many other heavyweights....marines..navy seals..etc. He has been willing for quite some time to travel to the UK and fight Joshua. Charlie doesn't like weight limits and he knows as well as anybody that the true glamor division of the sport is unlimited weight. You gotta give the man credit. Even though he is a vicious sucker punching cheat he only really attacks men much bigger than him.

One thing I would be willing to do is to tie 1 arm behind Welliver's back. Left hand as he is a south paw. But I doubt Charlie would go for that. His mind will be saying he will win and he won't want anybody have any excuses as to why he won.

You know I thought of that... when figuring that Chauncy is basically 2x Charlie...
