In that case, with all due respect, you should take into account the fact that Joey Dawejko is a real person with a real career that you were trying to harm by "being naughty" for your own trivial selfish reasons. Not cool.

We've all got careers, friend. For good or bad journalists have to fish.
Re: Joey Dawejko in camp with AJ
It is a no brainer for Joey to keep quite regardless of whether something happened or not.
Some fighters rely heavily on sparring work, the last thing he needs is a reputation as a big mouth.
It may be boring for us, but f**k us, it's his career he needs to prioritise.

Nice to make a living by harming people who never did you any harm, is it? No wonder you have to call people who don't like you "friend"; I doubt you have many real ones.
The idea that you think it's justified to harm a person who has done nothing wrong just to satisfy the curiosity of the crowd should make you ashamed of yourself. It's not "naughty", it's being a pudendum.

I'd imagine that Joey had to sign a confidentiality agreement when he signed up for the gig.
Even if he wanted to speak out, he'd likely get sued if he did.

Exactly, plus unlikely to ever get hired as a sparring partner againNondescript wrote: ↑04 Jun 2019, 06:58 I'd imagine that Joey had to sign a confidentiality agreement when he signed up for the gig.

Joey's a proper sportsman. Even if there was no confidentiality agreement he'd never confirm anything like that happened. He's a true gentleman.

Sparring partner code dictates no comment.

Understood, but this 'story' wasn't about being dropped but being dropped hard and the psychological effect. I don't buy into the story, but I get it.HomicideHenry wrote: ↑04 Jun 2019, 09:13 Besides, it's sparring. It's a given you spar somebody enough times they'll figure you out from time to time. It's like, "You got me last week but I'll get you next week." It happens.

Considering there's been rumors of Joshua getting dropped or kayoed in sparring ever since he turned pro and he's always managed to win--- you can't blame the loss on such a thing. It's apparently nothing new to Joshua.
