Actually Usyk HAS competed at HEAVYWEIGHT, and MANY times.

What do I mean?

Usyk competed in the WSB at the Heavy class, AND, a Cruiserweight is just a Heavyweight that has to cut weight temporarily to compete at the 200 limit. Cruisers don't weigh 200 pounds, and they don't fight at 200 pounds, they simply cut weight for the Cruiser class and gain weight again for the fight. So, as a Heavy, Usyk doesn't have to cut any weight to fight and he'll be exactly the fighter we have seen already. If Usyk has been competing at 210-215lbs then that is what we've already seen.

Haye fought at Cruiser at 210-215. We saw the same fighter at Heavy.

We have seen Wilder fight at Heavy at a reported 209. Wilder is one fine Heavy at that weight.

Additionally, there is a tacit acknowledgement among many boxing writers that the undisputed Cruiser champion is automatically a top 10 Heavy even if that position is only #10. There is NO speculation, a Cruiser is a Heavy.

Usyk beats Ruiz by UD. Ruiz doesn't have the wheels and handling that Usyk has and will get turned and then consistently shot up.

I need to see Usyk fight a couple of heavyweights first. I've seen tons of posts on various sites with hypothetical Usyk heavyweight matchups, but the guy has never fought in the division. Usyk could easily UD him, or he could get battered and concussed by a 268 pound monster. Too soon to tell.

Joshua didn't have the speed or ability to get out of the way of Ruiz' hard punching flurries that totally overpowered him. Usyk is FAR more elusive. He'd make Ruiz look like a stick in the mud and take potshots at him.
