Darts and snooker. Hahahahhaa

The first good thing I can say about Eddie Hearn is that his fighters are generally happy with what they are paid and by all accounts they get paid on time. That's a big credit on his part, we can't always say that about promoters

The second good thing is err emm sorry I'm done.

yeah, I saw that. No one seems to know the discussion. Just a lot of speculation. I'm curious to say the least! At one point, AJ put his arm across his dad's chest like he was holding him back.

Who knows, apparently Joshua said "I'm the one fighting" but it was unclear.

Was a funny background to the Ruiz interview though. I think Hearn thought he was going to get laid out for a second there

He had a look of concern on his face, yes! Reminded me of Ali in the ring after the Foreman fight. Don King came up to him smiling and faded back into the crowd brooding after Ali said some crap to him. Easy to see on the fight replay and classic.

I'm kinda scratching my head why people are celebrating this - we never bring this about Warren/Arum/Dibella

I don't get why people seem to have it in for Hearn either. He's a great promoter.

Eddeh brings this sort of thing upon himself. He's the most 'visible' of the promoters. Speaks too much and is too inconsistent, like them all, but he's the one that's always in the spotlight, so I say, "happy hunting" on the turd.

Indeed my friend - praying for his demise is so childish just enjoy the boxing I remember a time where I thought this sport especially in Britain was fading!

Don’t understand the problem people have with Hearn best promoter in world just look at the schedule of his main rival bob arum. Looking back, what a great show last night can’t complain

Hearn said it best. "We wanted to give you an unforgettable evening, and we did."

Spooked? And it wasn't Eddie's fault.

I would strongly advise AJ to keep well away from David Beckham too, before the rematch, that other great ambassador of good luck.

Well, how else do we explain something like this? Sparring injuries, poor tactics, overconfidence, hype job exposed, dissolution in the camp etc etc?

Nah, I'm going with the Drake Curse theory.

It was a weak undercard. Kelly was unimpressive; the Taylor-Persoon fight was good, but the decision was lame; Callum Smith beating up a middleweight was a joke. I got my money's worth out of the main event though. The atmosphere at MSG was unreal.

characters wrote: 05 Jun 2019, 13:56 This night proves how awesome Hearn is to have as a promotor, he makes millions for piles of guys no matter how good or bad they are!

It also proves how much of a lottery heavyweight boxing can be, Whyte his only loss ever against the greatest boxer in the history of the sport ruines his entire carreer despite he's much better then piles of champions, at this moment any champion in fact!

I'm not biting.

I'm done with the Joshua v Ruiz fight now. We've all said our piece and both sets of viewpoints have entrenched and reset.

One side saying flaws were exposed. The other side trying to wipe the fight from memory as a lucky punch. It's just rinse and repeat from now on.

Who's fighting this weekend?
