Good news on Stevenson's recovery. Even though some posters think he's a bad guy (and he is), we never want to see this sort of ring injury, ever.

According to Yvon Michel, promoter for former light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson, the boxer "is doing really well."

Michel has stayed in steady contact with his boxer, who was seriously injured during his knockout loss to Oleksandr Gvozdyk, on December 1st in Quebec City.

After the fight, it was discovered that Stevenson had a brain bleed and he spent weeks in a coma. Doctors were initially unsure if the boxer would ever walk or talk again.

Funny thing about Adonis. That duck of kovalev was as bad as I've seen in 40 years(cue 1500 words from eo) but looking back he might have laid Sergei out.

Whether he may have been able to lay Sergei out, it would have been a good fight. The best 2 LHW’s going at it at the time. A very missed opportunity. (Again cue EO’s 1500 words)
