lol yeah, he probably just needed a shit.

By the way, I kicked part of this off and I stand by my (apparently) uneducated, made up, bullshite that he has not gained muscle and lost weight and ended up heavier, however I do retract as I cannot be bothered with this damn arguing.

That's just choosing a starter with their main meal for these guys.

My take on it is that Ruiz had already recently completed a camp where much of his fitness work would have been already done.

They probably focused on sharpness and generally keeping him relaxed and ticking over. Natural therefore to put on a wee bit of weight because the base fitness work would have been in the bank to a degree from the previous fight

I once asked on here how Mick Jagger can be as fit as he is, at his age, and with his lifestyle, and nobody could come up with an answer. I don't honestly know how Ruiz trains but whatever he does, works for him. Fighters weights will go up and down, especially the big heavy guys, maybe he went for a big mac the day before?

He probably didn't take a leak or crap before the weigh-in. You'd be surprised that if you take a piss you can lose easily 2 pounds of weight.
