Conor Benn v Jussi Koivula 21st June

Interesting fight this one.

Koivula's record is quite padded but has fought a couple of decent guys, granted both beat him but only on points.

I think this could be a tricky fight for Benn.

Terrible. The guy has 24 wins 6 losses and a draw. He's only ever beaten bums in his home country of Finland. Apart from one. Who was a bum from Hungary.

He's only fought outside of Finland 6 times and lost 5 of them. His last fight he did go points with a guy who was 22-0. Although that guy had a huge 3 KO's on his record.

He's been KO'd by a guy with a KO ratio of 32% and another with a ratio of 17%.

A nothing fight really but as that guy is 35 and has had over 30 fights. My guess would be points win for Benn.

I’ll be honest I always look to see if Benn is fighting a genuine welterweight and if he is regardless of where they are ranked I think they are value. Penaud is the only genuine welterweight he has fought. The rest have been guys who either usually campaign in the divisions below or have moved up in one of their recent fights.

Whatever anyone may say about Koivula this is def a step up for Benn who's mostly been matched with novices and journeyman who are only themselves just getting started off, Koivula's been in with Bundu for the European(stopped in 9) lost a decision to Mimoune who beat Eggington for the European and recently Koivula lost a SD to Samuel Vargas over in Canada so it could be a tough night for Benn

I like Benn, whether I rate him highly is another matter, I don't think he's as bad as a lot make out and he's usually in fun fights even at low level, people give him stick for not being as big a puncher as his dad but Nigel was one of the hardest punchers this countries ever produced so a bit unfair to compare both, being related means absolutely nothing, Conor fights aggressively so he will get guys out of there because he looks for the KO, still young still learning, if people can look past the hype machine then just enjoy watching him

If Koilvula can go the distance with Vargas then Benn would do well to stop him, wouldn't be surprised to see this go to the wire

It'll be interesting to see what price Koivula opens at for this one.

You’d have to expect Benn to be long odds on - can’t see him being any better than 1-3 or 1-4 region ?
