Wlad always did the old chunky soles and shoulder pads, didn't he? To me, Fury's one of those guys who slouches and stands a little lower than he needs to, as a sort of deference to people. It's something I do a little bit too sometimes. He's a tricky character, always playing possum and giving you different looks. I've been told he can be quite unsettling to be around and seems like a different person depending on whatever mood he's in. Like you said, he always looks the full 6'9" in the ring. I'm inclined to believe the listing as true.
it’s Exactly the height (very slightly under 6ft 9”) that I said Tyson told me out of his own mouth he was earlier in this thread, looks like I did know after all 
He may very well of reached 7'0"-7'1" then again even if the guy is half an inch under 7'0" that's 3" (finger length) taller than 6'9" and you can say that's about accurate for the picture.
