My opinion is that it’s not for the competitor to declare he’s the best but just get in with winning and people will call you the best. He’s a rid neck that Henry. I liked him better when he’d been humbled by DJ.
He's a total bellend.

He always does it. Silva forever, then mighty mouse when Jones is the clear goat.

UFC 239 (STACKED!)

Jon Jones vs Thiago Santos
Amanda Nunes vs Holly Holm
Jorge Masvidal vs Ben Askren
Jan Błachowicz vs Luke Rockhold
Diego Sanchez vs Michael Chiesa
Gilbert Melendez vs Arnold Allen
Sean O'Malley vs Marlon Vera
Edmen Shahbazyan vs Jack Marshman
Julia Avila vs Melissa Gatto

I hope Masvidal can somehow nullify Askrin's takedowns. However, I doubt it. Dude is human glue.

Jones, Nunes, and Askrin should be wide favorites. But, I'm intrigued to see if we can get one upset out of those three.

Interested in seeing how Rockhold fares at 205. I wouldn't be too upset if he bombs.

Sanchez/Chiesa should be a treat.

I'm not too familiar with Melendez's current form. And I'm not familiar with Allen.

O'Malley will be fun to watch.

The last two bouts...meh

Overall, I like it.

Nothing really "can't miss" on that card, and a bit too mismatchy for my tastes as well. I'll probably skip it.

I think Holm will upset Nunes and i expect Askren to beat Masvidal but that's a pick 'em fight imo.

I'm not one to go out of my way to be negative about fights or fighters but...

Did anyone see this Bellator fight? This is by far the weakest ground and pound I have ever seen, and I am including my entire MMA journey in this. This is worse than anything on any regional ammy fight card I fought on in states that didn't even have commissions yet. Pretty shocking to see on TV to be honest.

I think that was an undercard bout. I watched the whole Bellator main card and I don't remember that fight.

They tried so hard to turn Heather Hardy into a star because she's decent looking and has some half-assed boxing pedigree, but she's just awful.

Yeah it wasn't on the main card...I think it was right before the Pico fight.

Hardy's an undefeated world champion in boxing :o apparently there's 125 female feather boxers in the world so I guess I can see that.

Yea BoxRec ranks her #1 in her division, but her point total is very low because her best opponent ever is like 15-10 now. Maybe she is a decent boxer but she sure isn't a decent MMA fighter and she never will be.

Off topic somewhat, but I find myself barely watching boxing cards anymore.

I'll watch specific fights im interested in, but otherwise I couldn't give a rats ass about the sport in the same way.

Whereas with a UFC event in particular, I tend to watch the full main card and the undercard and a decent amount of the prelims.

I actually find it hard for a lot of boxing matches to hold my attention and concentration like they did 5/10 years ago. That's not really an issue I find myself having with MMA.

Oddly enough her standup in mma seems very poor as well. I hate to bash on her, but this fight stood out as one of the worst I've seen on TV and the softest gnp I've ever witnessed anywhere.

Same here. There are very few match ups that peak my interest in boxing these days. There was a time where I thought I'd always prefer boxing over MMA. I was WAY wrong. MMA. UFC in particular, is currently light years better than boxing in every aspect.

I'll tune in for Nunes vs Holm, outside of that nothing on the card interests me. I used to like Jones but he's nothing but a drug cheat. Diego's always fun, though.

I try not to sound sexist when it comes to women and combat sports, but very very few women impress me in MMA or boxing. Currently, Shevchenko, Nunes, Jędrzejczyk, and Namajunas impress me alot. But, that's about it when it comes to the women.

The Sanchez fight is going to be crazy.

Hoping Jorge KOs Askren. Same with Santos koing Jones.

Are you familiar with Sean OMalley
