Fury vs Schwarz

Post by Ricky »

Sorry if there's a thread already but i couldn't see one.

As for this fight, i think Schwarz is being written off here. It's actually a good fight. Fury has a habit of fighting either a total tomato can like Seferi, or a legit champion like Wlad or Wilder. It's nice to see him take a solid contender actually.

I see Schwarz giving Fury some problems, he's tall enough and he can bang. If Fury is as negative as he has been in his bug fights I'd imagine this is a wide decision, but if he gets too comfortable Schwarz might pull off another HW upset.

Schwarz hasn't shown me anything that makes me think he is even top 25.
I'm hoping for a good entertaining fight. But I can't see it.
Fury by darn near a shutout

Well he's beat whats been put in front of him, 6 foot 6 and can punch. Fury is a tough guy to land on but he can certainly be got at.

I'm sure Fury could get him out of there, but my guess is it will be a shutout. Let's face it, he is not a banger and should stick to what he is good at. I'm sure Fury knows this too, going the long route never hurt PBF, in this game it is winning that counts.

He sucks. Doesn't even have such great power. Knocked down a litany of tomato cans.

although lol admittedly ruiz knocking out ajs got me less confident in big favorites then before. still, dont see schwarz having even close to the tools needed here, at least andy always had really quick hands

Agreed. Ruiz had already proved his worth vs top and second tier level opposition. Schwarz looked horrible vs Gashi of all fighters.

Schwarz isn't a contender. He hasn't got much power to speak of and hasn't fought on the big stage. He has always been the favourite because he has only faced poor opposition.

Fury gets him out of there in six.

Schwarz retires on his stool, his face a mess, or else gets stopped late on I reckon.
