I feel a bit sorry on Jr or anyone for that matter who has a parent like Sr, I'm not saying he's an unfit parent or even a bad dad but there's nothing real about him, I wonder if Jr wishes he could just have a regular chat with his old man, a beer or a meal and just have a wee father and son blether/gab without Sr taking an eternity to answer a simple question before giving a nonsense answer, its all a façade and he's kept up the act for so long its second nature and I doubt even he knows his true self

I think a lot of people think their both peas in a pod but apart from some similarities like their unwavering self belief I think Jr must be more like his mum, Jr acts like his dad in the ring with some of his mannerisms but listen to him speak he's comes across pretty well, there's a fine line between self belief and delusion and sometimes Eubank Jr crosses it but all in all I think he's a good egg

Without trying to come across all Agony Aunt I reckon if father and son were to become estranged then Jr would probably reveal how hard it was being brought up by a father who doesn't seem to show much emotion or empathy, I mean what dad would carry on the way Eubank Sr did when his son was losing to Saunders?

I'm sure Eubank Sr is maybe a nice guy too and his schtick is harmless but he's do well to drop the ego, I mean he may spout all this so called wisdom but anyone with half a brain can see its all nonsense, he's defo got a touch of madness

It's true that his dad's name can open doors for him that wouldn't normally be there.

But his dad's theatrics and insistence on doing things his own way can also be a hindrance.
