There is an immediate rematch clause in the contract.

If AJ/Eddie wants the fight he either fights or loses a lot of money in damages and lawyer and court fees.

I would be very suprised if he does not fight AJ.

Not taking the fight and losing in court is why many fighters end up with nothing.

Both parties signed the agreement, the only way it gets broken is by mutual agreement and that means paying AJ/Eddie money not to fight.

The whole heavyweight situation is very frail now AJ has been beaten, we now know he is frail, Wilder is on the edge of being beaten, Tyson Fury could do anything including lose, the rest we kind of know about, more likely the main three plus Ruiz as he is champion should agree to fighting while fights are worth something, though the value of AJ is fraction of what it was.

That’s not even a question.. he definitely will.. there’s not one reason not to, unless Hearn doesn’t cough up enough scratch and takes the piss money wise .
