Yet i pick Wilder to KO Ruiz ,, then again i'm often wrong
Fury --- Ruiz
Fury --- Ruiz
Fury versus Ruiz ,, I know AJ has revoked the rematch clause , but hav'nt really heard Fury putting his hand up to jump in with Ruiz , and try to grab the belts , personaly i'm not too sure has to wether or not Fury would go down the same path has AJ , styles make fights and Fury could'nt hurt Ruiz , i think Ruiz has the footwork to catch Fury the hand speed to land , and the power to KO , would be interesting ..

Re: Fury --- Ruiz
I think Ruiz would relentlessly attack Tyson's body. Would be interesting to see. I agree, Wilder would take Ruiz out fairly early. Fury will outbox Ruiz. Even if he somehow gets caught, he'll stand his ground.

Re: Fury --- Ruiz
I think Fury plays with Ruiz and makes him look very ordinary. Ruiz is a solid fighter but I got him way behind Fury and Wilder for that matter

Styles make fights. Ruiz would need a stepladder to reach Fury's chin. Very boring UD IMO.

Re: Fury --- Ruiz
Easy night for fury unlike AJ he likes to box going backwards and Ruiz doesn't carry much power; in heavy weight terms .
Re: Fury --- Ruiz
Freddie Roach says Ruiz has as much power as anyone he's trained. AJ may disagree as well.paddy chavez wrote: ↑12 Jun 2019, 15:14 Easy night for fury unlike AJ he likes to box going backwards and Ruiz doesn't carry much power; in heavy weight terms .

Can't compare the two. Ruiz is a levels above Chis in boxing skills. He knows how to create opportunities and take what's given to him.CiganoBoxer wrote: ↑12 Jun 2019, 15:17 I seem to remember another quite good body puncher called Chisora saying the same ..........![]()

Re: Fury --- Ruiz
Maybe as much as Whyte. Whyte hit AJ with a great left hook (his best punch) and couldn't put him down. Ruiz had AJ down four times. The comparison is tough. Of course I have Fury winning over Ruiz, but I wouldn't say it would be an easy fight.paddy chavez wrote: ↑12 Jun 2019, 15:25 Do you think he has more power than Whyte ? Re: Fury --- Ruiz
Fury would destroy him and win 98 rounds out of 100. Too big and way better boxer
Re: Fury --- Ruiz
TFKoB chops down the tree, shocking the world yet again.
Re: Fury --- Ruiz
Fury wide. I’m not convinced that Ruiz is all that as a puncher, which sounds ridiculous given two weeks ago.
I thought Joshua was poor - mentally, tactically and defensively. My gut feel is history will prove Ruiz to have been a goodish heavyweight who was in the right place at the right time. Corrie Sanders type stuff
Fury plays with Ruiz and wins by a mile

Easy to say, until he climbs into the cage with the Mexican-American wolverine.fizzjambo wrote: ↑12 Jun 2019, 16:38 Fury wide. I’m not convinced that Ruiz is all that as a puncher, which sounds ridiculous given two weeks ago.

Re: Fury --- Ruiz
Fury has a much better jab than Joshua and would disrupt Ruiz's rhythm as is coming into range.
Joshua did a pretty good job of avoiding Ruiz in the first two rounds but struggled to land counters, it wasn't until he planted his feet that he got caught clean. Fury has better footwork and can throw shots on the move, he also won't plant his feet and trade until he has his range and angles zeroed in.
Fury would win a clear decision imo.
Ruiz vs Wilder would be interesting though. Wilder can be difficult to hit when he puts his mind to it, but when he goes on the offensive he neglects defence alltogether.
I could potentially see Wilder vs Ruiz being similar to Joshua vs Ruiz.
