Dude, I'm hoping Fury has a scare in this fight just to shut him up. But I do want him to win.HomicideHenry wrote: ↑12 Jun 2019, 16:57 Maybe so, but sometimes people "rise to the occasion" and pull out a better performance than usual. I'm thinking 80-90% chance Fury wins. Moments of high tension. Fury may be too loose and relaxed, and maybe does somewhat overlook Schwarz despite publicly saying Schwarz is a challenge. I can see Fury getting hit and shook up momentarily, and then gets serious against Schwarz. Kinda like the one fight with Firtha.

I don't see any scare for Fury.
The Schwarz I've watched on tape does not appear world class.
But there are believers. Odds have dropped in half, from 50-1 to 25-1.
Of course we saw the same thing last week with Golovkin-Rolls.

Looks like Schwarz is fitter.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Tom Schwarz - June 15, 2019
There aren’t “beleivers”. There are morons who saw a short fat guy beat Adonis and are blindly lumping money on the big underdogs in the next big fights thinking they’re onto something. It’s nothing but moronic residue. The casual observer looks at Ruiz and doesn’t comprehend he actually has very good skills. He’s a world level fighter. Unlike Steve Rolls. Unlike Tom Schwarz.SenorPipino wrote: ↑12 Jun 2019, 17:11 I don't see any scare for Fury.

I bet most of them never saw Ruiz fight except against AJ.diddy wrote: ↑12 Jun 2019, 22:13 There aren’t “beleivers”. Do you think Fury will load up on the weight 24 hours before the fight, look at his legs they're skinny.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Tom Schwarz - June 15, 2019
Schwarz was chosen for a reason. He throws wide telegraphed punches. Fury will see everything coming. It’s the straight shots that come right down the pike that could trouble Fury. Schwarz has none of that in his arsenal. Easy pickings.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Tom Schwarz - June 15, 2019
Let's see what happens.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Tom Schwarz - June 15, 2019
Worse and better. Nowhere near as skilled as Rolls but he has a better chance due to his power and Fury’s less than 3G level chin.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Tom Schwarz - June 15, 2019
Fury isn’t getting knocked out by punches he can see coming a mile away. Schwarz is a good puncher. He’s nowhere near Wilder power wise.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Tom Schwarz - June 15, 2019
I will tell you what effs me off about boxing is someone who I do respect like Tyson, who knows the game and how it works and all the BS, being inconsistent in their views and not being able to be objective when it comes to themselves.
Example - Fury and Warren were on Good Morning with Piers and kept repeating that Schwarz is the rated two at heavyweight, with no explanation. It was repeated so often that casual fans will think he has pulled off another huge win on the weekend and will have beaten the actual second best at the weight (despite that breaking down on even casual knowledge and logic as they all know Wilder and AJ plus that AJ lost so he has to be behind them).
No one added the "rated number 2 by one organisation, in their rankings, but probably only really top 30-40 in actual ratings"

ya, and a bit ironic coming from team lineal
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Tom Schwarz - June 15, 2019
That's just the point though isn't it. It's all about the casuals. Fury will know that anybody who knows anything about boxing is not taken in by a lot of nonsense about Schwarz's ability but what does he care about what they think?tobyh5 wrote: ↑13 Jun 2019, 03:21 I will tell you what effs me off about boxing is someone who I do respect like Tyson, who knows the game and how it works and all the BS, being inconsistent in their views and not being able to be objective when it comes to themselves.

Never said that he has “Wilder power” nor did I say Shwortz is going to KTFO Fury. But, he does have a better lucky punch chance than Rolls did.

When Fury is forced to talk up an opponent, instead of calling him a worthless dosser, then you know the guy is pretty bad.

Exactly this.SenorPipino wrote: ↑13 Jun 2019, 09:49 When Fury is forced to talk up an opponent, instead of calling him a worthless dosser, then you know the guy is pretty bad.
Whenever a top guy stops saying the opponent is garbage, beneath him, about to be exposed etc, that is when you know he actually is all of that.
