Joshua always was an easy target to hit. No real movement. Fighting in a straight line, chin up in the air, no real head movement. He was just so hard of a puncher, and physically intimidating that I think most people simply refused to engage with him. People already defeated before the first bell.

With Fury, he appears "wide open" to be hit. But his long reach, herky jerky movements, and leaning away from punches--- poses a tremendous problem for anybody. Especially when you combine that fact with his good speed of hand and foot, as well as him being so large.

A guy like Ruiz, who is said to be 6'2" but looks like he's shorter than that, would be completely dwarfed. He'd never be able to catch Fury like he did Joshua, because unlike Joshua the Gypsy King is not a stationary opponent. Fury only trades WHEN someone is hurt, or when he has to dig down deep.

I like Andy Ruiz. I hope he wins the automatic rematch with Joshua and then defends the title in his home town and then cashes out against Wilder or Fury. But I can't see him beating Wilder or Fury. They're too athletic and unorthodox and too big. Joshua was tailor made for a fast handed counter puncher.

Fury is too wily for the tub-o-lard. Will be a boring UD IMO.

Laugh at the way Brits bring up Whyte and other Eurobums in their examples of good/powerful fighters. Based on what exactly? The guy is bang ordinary like Chisora.

Fury will quietly rate Ruiz as a boxer and also quietly hate him a little for taking away a superfight from him.

I thought Parker edged Whyte. TFKoB would dispose of him inside 10.

There’s another board where one user can’t post without using the word ‘pudding’ at least three times. It’s never funny and it does my nut in. He always calls Chisora “Dull Boy Pakora” which is also about as funny as cancer and even less funny repeated a gazillion times.

I don’t go there very often.

Thats very debatable as there are numerous reports saying Ruiz hits really hard - Parker who went 12 rounds and Holyfield who sparred him years ago and said he wouldnt do it again as he punches like a mulekick !

I actually find your championing of Ruiz quite amusing.

This could play out similar to Fury-Chisora. I think Ruiz would struggle as every time he took a step forward, Fury took step back and to the side and throw a 10 foot long jab in his face

Ruiz ain't "relentlessly" attacking anything. He's too fat. He has to pick his shots.

Fury easy, Josh is going to win the rematch easy IMO, though I thought the same first time. Ruiz is tailor made for fury.

I disagree completely that he's tailor made for Fury. Nobody really likes punching down so Fury maintains respect
and range by throwing his jab and often his right from low down which other tall fighters struggle to see coming. Ruiz due to his height and head position will see the shots coming and would cause Tyson more problems than most.
