Re: Round-by-Round: Tyson Fury vs. Tom Schwarz - June 15, 2019
He said he’d fight 3 times this year.
Last year was June - August - December
He’s already done June this year. August seems too close.
Schwarz ~ Seferi. Beat him quicker. So why not end of August.
He said 2 fights would be Stateside and 1 in the UK.
December is unlikely cuz Wilder is likely in Feb.

Fury stuns the boxing world with his elusiveness, his craft, power, and his art. Other than Usyk, there is no heavy alive that comes close to his glittering skill.

Like he said. He wasn’t out for 3 years this time, was only 6 months.
Said he gained weight, but looked more than comfortable didnt he.

He looked really strong too. He can throw bombs when he wants to. He is 260 after all.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑16 Jun 2019, 00:46 Like he said. He wasn’t out for 3 years this time, was only 6 months.

“The key to tonight was to enjoy meself,” Fury said in the ring. “I used the jab. I was slipping and sliding, hands down, switched up to southpaw, caught him with a straight left. And it was a good shot. It would’ve put anybody away. I put on an extra 12 pounds. I really, really feel it, you know? I haven’t had three years out of the ring this time. This time, I had a few months out of the ring. I’m back, the return of the Mack. The Mack is back.”

Welp.... Fury was far more aggressive than I thought he'd be.... Then again he didn't have much of a choice.... As bad of a pick Schwarz was had he taken it easy on the dude it'd of just been bad criticism.... Schwarz did try to go for broke throwing haymaker's but Fury rode all of those shots.... If Fury's hoping to fight twice more this year, I suspect Kubrat Pulev is next.... It's systematic, Schwarz being #2 in the WBO and Pulev being #1 in the IBF... So come 2020 he'll be the mandatory for the Ruiz-Joshua rematch winner.

Easy work for The Gypsy King. Now somewhere Joshua watches, how you should go for the kill, and cries.

Probably a good note to end on, Fury and Schwarz in the dressing room afterwards and Fury telling Schwarz not to feel bad about losing and invited him to join Fury's next camp.
That's class.

Fury is the genuine article. He’s great for the sport. He gets it.HomicideHenry wrote: ↑16 Jun 2019, 02:35

TFKoB would actually KTFO Schwarz. Furthermore, if Fury played that game on the ropes with The Man to beat, he would be punished severely to the body.
Re: Round-by-Round: Tyson Fury vs. Tom Schwarz - June 15, 2019
Many said similar things about Fury vs Wilder. The Fat King won't handle The Gypsy King. There's only one King out there. There's only one Tyson Fury.

Re: Round-by-Round: Tyson Fury vs. Tom Schwarz - June 15, 2019
I'm reminded of something Ali said on the SUPERFIGHT DVD documentary...
"Then that must be a time when I just stop moving... Because no man can really corner a fighter and keep him there unless he's got bad legs or is a little old... In my fight with George Chuvalo I was criticized for deliberately letting George Chuvalo beat me to the stomach and the sides... But if a man's strategy is to corner me and wear me down he's taking a big gamble... Mainly you must realize this, anyone who knows anything about boxing or real fighting will tell you if he's in arm reach of me he's hit, he's shook up, he's cut, his brains are shook up... For a man to corner me and hurt me, I must quit punching in order to let him do it.... This is science fiction talk."
