One thing for sure any thoughts that he was a top world class fighter are gone he looked lost at times and hardly landed a decent shot .
It's not that easy when your opponent is holding your arms for 2 minutes of every round .

Warrington was pretty bad tonight. Sure he grafted his way to a win (or draw on my card) but no way should a guy with his experience let kid boss him into constant clinches.
Sure, style wise it was a mess, and Josh should learn from it. I just thought he would have kid figured out by R4 at the very least. It isn't like kid changed what he was doing all fight :maybe:

Very tough to look good against a guy who doesn't want to fight.
He needs to throw more shots of the bent arm variety.

Agree with every word of that. Galahad surely needs another one of his brother's milkshakes, he was definitely flagging, poor lamb.

Said it on this forum for years Galahad was grossly over rated. Up there with jamie cox. He has done f*ck all in his career.

Crap fight an an absolutely pathetic world title challenge from someone in the biggest fight of their career.

For those saying he won just look at his body language after the fight. He knew he lost.

He was punching Fresh Air half the time either being wild or being made to miss.

Frampton must feel like a right plank tonight watching that - don’t stand in front of him and trade and he looked clueless for what to do next.

Agree, Dominic Ingle let him down tonight. No way he was going to get a decision in Leeds without clearly winning rounds (which he didnt). His corner should have been reminding him of that fact.

That’s true re home town decision but if he opened up or tried to force it more he might have played into Warrington’s gameplan.

He did need to throw more shots throughout course of the 12 rounds.

If you want to win a world title I think you have to take a risk.

It wasn’t a great fight but does that tell us more about how far Frampton has gone backwards? He struggled to push Warrington back and that’s clearly when he’s at his weakest. Galahad did that in spells and Warrington looked average.

Really bad fight.

Missed the start when Galahad was apparently doing his best. By the end I wasn’t one bit arsed who won.

Please, anything but a rematch. Maybe Galahad vs Carl winner gets their rematch? So many good fights at feather what just haven’t happened now for years.

Terrible fight to watch, even worse to score, Galahad never in a million gonna get a decision in a fight like that. This was no Wharton v Fidel smith here. Decent referee had a bad night,
One kid boxed the best he can at this level the other was well below.

Galahad wasn't busy enough to sway the judges. If he doubled his output he probably would have got a majority draw :KO:

Problem with Galahad is that it was his big shot and he needed to take it, really grab it by the bollocks and take it as he is such a fcking ugly fighter that no boxing channel is going to want him headlining and owning big titles. With it being almost impossible to look good against him, champions are not going to chose him so he needs to be mandatory to get a shot. He was mandatory and has blown it.

So now he is pushed down the ratings, unlikely to be chosen as a defence by anyone, and so having to take time to get the right fights to get back to number one, then once there he needs to be made mandatory, then it needs enforcing against a champion due to make a mandatory. That could be what? Three years to pull all of that off? He is already 29 years old. Safe to say that Barry will not be achieving his dream.

* I was so bored by it that I was not paying close attention but have to admit that I did not feel Warrington won it, but had no round by round going so that's unfair of me.

It was Wharton v Smith 2.
Well done to Warrington's promoter. The $584,500 he paid Galahad to get him to fight in Leeds was crucial.

I had Galahad shading it. Fought ugly but done what was needed to get the better of Warringtons high work rate and pressure. Warrington looked a bit clueless to be fair but when he did let his hands go Galahad looked uncomfortable.
No robbery and definitely don't want to see a rematch that was a hard watch
