Assuming you mean who is gonna pay to get it sorted out?
Well people on here have already said they would pay x amount for a boxrec specific app.

If someone believed it would sell enough to make profit over any original cost then why wouldnt someone pay. Not saying i would, just saying that there may be an opportunity there for someone.

This kinda thing must be a pretty common app for forums, therefore id imagine there would be some sort of model for it.

You do realise Apple take a minimum 50% for any app sold, right?

The mark up wouldn't be cheap to make that effective to pay just for people's time. Unless John can work sponsorship in there somehow.

I can't see its happening, apps cost big bucks to develop. To be honest I'd rather look at records on a big screen too so I would still use this website rather than trying to view it on a phone.

Don't see how it could ever justify the spend. People want stuff for free.

Nah.
Pointless, there is no issue using the site as is.

I agree, its just a database with a forum attached, not sure what an app would add

For me a big thing would be instant-notifications to my phone about boxers on my watchlist which would stop the need to keep checking the site for updates to schedules. That might just be me though :maybe:

I guess there are things they could add, just not sure the expense of development etc would be worth the effort.

Yeah it's an expensive project if it was ever undertaken. I guess advertising could be the only way to pay for it.

The notifications could even be added on here in some minor way to be honest. Maybe some sort of indication on the main screen banner that the watchlist has changed or something like that.
