Frankie Gavin/Euros

Post by mike222 »

Having watched Frankies return to the ring I am convinced he can beat any lightweight in Europe except Alexey,if he competes at 60,Szot will hold no fears.Sutherland as well has no one to fear but Korobov, but Perkins who has the easiest task will mess up.

Alexey Tischenko may be 57 kg so he wont have to worry about him.
But there is still Domenico Valentino, Krzysztof Szot, Aydun Selchuk & Jussi Koivula. I dont know if they will all be at the European Championships but they are all strong boxers & it will be no easy task for Gavin. :TU:

Agreed it will not be easy, but I think he can do it.It will take a good boxer to beat him.

Darren Sutherlands whole career is in doubt last I heard.
He caught a thumb in the eye and is waiting on results from the doctor to see if he can ever fight again... :-?

Well it is nice to be proved right if a little late.I always felt Frankie was a bit special but outthinking Tishenko was beyond even my admiration.
