Harry Wills-Sam Langford 1-27-1921

Can anyone confirm this no-decision bout that we have listed in Portland, Maine. Looking at Langford's travels around that time, it seems illogical for him to go clear across the country to fight Wills and then come back out west.

This bout is also listed in other resources (this one included once), as being in Portland, Oregon. They did fight at the nearby Milwaukie Arena on January 17, 1922. Which makes me think the 1921 bout might be a duplicate.

The bout was at Portland OR acording to Tim Leone's record on the CBZ

I've researched the Portland Oregonian from late 1916 till early 1922 and they only fought the 1922 bout in Milwaukie (near Portland). Langford was out in Oregon during late 1920-early 1921. Wills did not come out to Oregon until late 1921, when Denver Ed Martin made a comeback that drew him to Portland.
