I really enjoyed watching Bruno directing DD on the pads in this vid.

Frank did the same with Dillian Whyte a few days ago. He seems to be a popular figure amongst currently active pro fighters.

He’s in fantastic shape for his age. :TU:

It was nice to see him look so healthy. I saw Evander in a vid the other day. Was in massive shape.

Nice experience for Dubois and great to see Bruno getting involved with younger fighters he has a lot of valuable experience he could pass on...

I remember a couple of years ago he was on the news because he wanted to make a return at the age of 50. BBBofC did not license him.

Or am I thinking if someone else?

So good that it never happened. From what I’ve seen in the last couple of years (interviews and other videos) he seems in a really good place. Although, as Churchill always said, the black dog of depression is never far away.

I really do think he should get into training young fighters, he’s still in great shape and has a lot to pass on...

I agree nice to see. You could see the power of Dubois mind you and Frank is a waif in comparison, being pushed back by some of those shots. Evidence enough that his 2016 idea would have been an awful one.

Sure is.

And after all his troubles It must be a good feeling to know you're held in great affection and esteem by the public years after your retirement. Lennox is rightly regarded as the best but he'd never beat Frank in a UK popularity contest.

Frank has had a tough time in recent years.

I'm pleased that the current boxers seem to have respect and time for him.

Yeah. As Frank said to Kugan; He's there in the record books and no one can take that away from him.

The support Frank had from the boxing pros that night against McCall was amazing to see. They were all on their feet willing him on. Benn in particular spent most of the 12 rounds banging on the apron in support.

Pity that fight wasn't on terrestrial TV, it would have been huge.

:TU:

one of the things that was very easy to like about Benn, how he'd wear his heart on his sleeve with how passionately he supported his mates (remember him being interviewed in Watson-Eubank 2, and he's giving his opinion on how the fight's going and then as the bell rings for the next round he spontaneously breaks off to shout 'come on Michael' towards the ring?)

Bruno was a magnificent physical specimen in his prime but still about 1.5 st less then Joshua, shows how things have changed.

Just a slightly bigger version. Some things haven't changed that much.

Just the training methods,i agree Joshua is equally as stiff as Bruno was,if that's what you mean.

Both had great physiques although not for a boxer. That mighty engine burns a lot of oxygen and creates lots of undesirable lactose acid.

It's funny as a kid all I wanted was a body like that (Charles Atlas in the magazine ads) then a girl I fancied told me that looked grotesque and most women like a man to look fit but not bulging with muscles. I was pleased at that. Much more attainable in fact I was already there.

I since found out what she said was right.

When Bruno won his WBC strap, arguably his prime, he was considerably more muscular than Joshua. Mid 240s at 6'2" is bigger than high 240s at 6'6".

Why Frank sustained so much growth from 86 to 96 though I'm not too sure. He Got Huge!
