ESPN'S agenda is to rave about all things Lomachenko and Crawford. And of course, Fury has now been thrown into that mix.
I liked the network better when they were actual broadcast journalists instead of cheerleaders.

I watch the content of the Mayweather Boxing Channel quite regularly. It's very entertaining, but they are very nationalistic. If an American fighter is involved, a lot will always come down on the side of the American on that channel, so it's not surprising that at least one person interviewed would go for Ruiz in the gym.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑22 Jun 2019, 12:46 Like I said before, many Mayweather gym members accurately predicted the upset. They’re all experts.
You’re either lazy or lack the intellect to use YouTube. So which one is it?
I'll admit it.PUGLET wrote: ↑22 Jun 2019, 23:16![]()
I’m gonna let this marinate....
Is this friendly banter? Friendly “bustin’ my chops”....
or is “actual internet negativity/hating”?
If it’s the latter, i’m taking my net and going home. (That’s road hockey talk for all you non-Canadians.... it means my feelings are hurt and i’m gonna stop playing, hopefully ruining it for you guys too.)
(The “net” to which I’m referring to is MY INCREDIBLE INSIGHT AND OVERALL BOXING EXPERTISE!)
Well done, that's better than quoting Andys mate who is a singer.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑22 Jun 2019, 12:46 Like I said before, many Mayweather gym members accurately predicted the upset. They’re all experts.

Yeah, lately they have really, really gotten on board with hyping Fury.SenorPipino wrote: ↑22 Jun 2019, 21:41 ESPN'S agenda is to rave about all things Lomachenko and Crawford. And of course, Fury has now been thrown into that mix.

Well Ruthless's pick was obviously really good, so I'm guessing you must have meant mine. Thanks for that. I always like to see credit go where it deserves, especially when the recipient isn't the type to shout about it.
That is exactly right. Some will pick his compatriot almost every time. That's their prerogative, but it does make correctly picking an upset more likely, compared to someone who predicts the winner logically and objectively.Finkel wrote: ↑22 Jun 2019, 23:19

I mentioned the Mayweather gym FOUR TIMES prior to posting the video.
How are you getting on finding a single professional boxer who trains in the gym 365 days per year?Enlightened-One wrote: ↑23 Jun 2019, 09:34 I mentioned the Mayweather gym FOUR TIMES prior to posting the video.
You even quoted my claims about the Mayweather gym at least EIGHT TIMES when you responded to my posts.
So why are you pretending that I’m claiming something new?
All you’ve done is prove your ignorance and inability use YouTube.
It would’ve taken any moderately intelligent human being seconds to verify my words.
So what’s your excuse? FFS!
I have a proven track-record of always being able to “talk the talk and walk the walk”.

But do the professional fighters in the Mayweather gym train there 365 days a year?Enlightened-One wrote: ↑23 Jun 2019, 13:24 Regardless of anyone’s thoughts about the Mayweather channel, the people being interviewed are full-time professionals involved in the sport of boxing that mix with world-rated talent, which means they should be considered as experts in the field of boxing.
And it’s undeniable that many of the people being interviewed by Jeff Mayweather were supremely confident about Andy Ruiz Jr’s chances of victory against Anthony Joshua.
And let’s not forget that I’ve been a huge fan of Andy Ruiz Jr’s since early 2016, which was when I was aggressively derided for having the sheer audacity of thinking he was very capable of beating Joseph Parker.
I was 100% correct then, and I'm also 100% correct now. Mock me all you want, but all you’ll be proving is that the truth hurts you personally, to the point you feel compelled to lash out in a knee-jerk like manner!
As per the thread title, I supplied the names of numerous boxing experts that believed that Andy Ruiz Jr. would score the upset over Anthony Joshua. And this cannot possibly be refuted!!!![]()

The preferred narrative that everyone from this forum is motivated to adhere to, was that nobody gave Andy Ruiz Jr. a chance of beating Anthony Joshua, because it makes them feel more comfortable about making the wrong decision.
But the fact remains is that there were a minority of boxing experts that were certain that Andy Ruiz Jr. would beat Anthony Joshua. And I proved that this was the case - no one can say otherwise, since the evidence is irrefutable in nature and can be viewed by anyone with two fully-functional eyes and ears!!!![]()
lol a forum i posted on years ago had a guy like that.....would always go for the upset and so therefor got more of them then most posters did. he bragged about it and liked to think it made him some sort of boxing brilliancecandyslim wrote: ↑23 Jun 2019, 03:54 Well Ruthless's pick was obviously really good, so I'm guessing you must have meant mine.
